La rolled from one side of the bed to another as she yawned loudly. She snapped her eyes open immediately and remembered what had transpired between her and Nnst night.


    “Kiss..” she gasped, cing her hands on her lips, her cheeks suddenly hitting up again.


    That was definitely not their first kiss, but it kept sending butterflies to her stomach each time she remembered how gentle he was and how he called her cute.


    Looking around the room, she realized Nn was long gone. She didn’t even have any idea of when he left.


    She frowned, recollecting that he promised to make her breakfast every morning but now he was away.


    Climbing off the bed, she made way to freshen up and get ready for the day.

    “Good morning La…” a tiny voice greeted La and she quickly removed her attention from the food she was stirring on the stove as she faced Malcolm who was standing there at the door post of the kitchen.


    “Malcolm, how are you?” She smiled at him.


    “Come in…” she invited Malcolm and walked into the kitchen.


    “What are you making?” He asked as La helped him sit on one of the chairs and he watched her cook.


    “Pasta..” she replied.


    “Why are the maids not preparing your food? I thought they took care of everything and you live as a queen?” He asked innocently and La found herself smiling.


    “It’s because I love preparing my meals myself Malcolm..” she replied.

    “Good. I’ll definitely dish yours out when it’s ready..” she informed. She really liked Malcolm a lot as he was a very bright kid and she saw some potential in him.


    “So how are you finding your stay here in the pce?” She queried pouring some milk into a ss and she ced it in front of him.


    “Good. Everyone treats me well. I also want to thank you for the new clothes..” Malcolm appreciated it.


    “You’re wee. Now drink up…” she motioned for him to finish up his ss of milk.


    “I want Millie toe here too..” Malcolm began sadly. He knew how much his sister always wanted to visit the pce.


    “Don’t worry she’lle here sooner than you think. There’s a partying up at the castle and I’m going to invite Millie and your grandparents..” La informed.


    “Really??” Malcolm squealed in surprise, happiness written all over his face.


    “Yes, sure. They’re going toe..” Her coronation wasing and Nn was already making arrangements for if. That must be why he was so busy. He was stuck up with making sure everything went well on the coronation day. Especially after what happened.


    “Thank you La..” he appreciated happily gulping down his cup of milk.


    “So what are your ns? We should start thinking of a school you’ll attend..” she voiced out as she’s been meaning to tell Nn about it.


    “I think I’ll join the royal army..” Malcolm announced with his tiny voice.


    “Really?”


    “Yes..” he confirmed.


    “Well that’s good. I’ll make arrangements for you..” La said as she turned off the stove. Then she made her way to serve two portions of food for her and Nn.


    He promised her breakfast now she was making him that instead.

    Malcolm stepped out of the kitchen together with La.


    “Where are you going?” He asked as they both climbed the stairs.


    “I’m going to serve the king his meal…” she replied. She was going to his study, she only hoped that he was there.


    “Hey Keisha..” she gged down Keisha who appeared to show up when she needed help.


    “Hi La…” Keisha waved and her eyes darted off to the tray La was carrying.


    “Why are you carrying this?” She suddenly asked in rm as she made way to carry the tray from La who refused her.


    “Because I’m going to serve Nn his breakfast..” La replied, raising a brow at Keisha.


    “What happened to the maids for god’s sake?” She rolled her eyes. La really tended to act stubborn sometimes.


    “I’m good Keisha, trust me. It’s just a tray of food..” she chuckled.


    “Come on La, you’re pregnant and you need rest..” Keisha said with concern.


    “I’m pregnant doesn’t mean I’m going to stay locked up in my room all day, besides the baby is very healthy…” La smiled sheepishly at Keisha.


    “Stop being naughty, bring it I’ll help you carry this, where are you going to? ” Keisha asked, wanting to carry the train from La.


    “I’m fine and I’m going to Nn’s study room..” La replied not giving Keisha the tray.


    “And if you feel like doing something. You can help with Malcolm…” I said and their eyes traveled to Malcolm who was standing obediently behind them.


    “Alright I will..” she finally gave in.


    “By the way, Nn’s not in his study room. He’s having a meeting with the elders…” Keisha informed La.


    “Okay. I’ll wait for him..” La stated. Luckily for her he was in the pce. She just felt like making him his breakfast by herself.


    She strangely felt a sense of belonging to him and did not want him eating another person’s food but hers, especially when he seemed to be enjoying it a lot.


    “Good. By the way, we have somewhere to goter today..” Keisha began and La looked at her with a curious gaze.


    “Where?” She couldn’t help but ask.


    “We are picking a dress for your coronation party together!!” Keisha announced happily as La smiled.


    “Oh I see..” she chuckled.


    “All right then. Let me know when you’re ready. Right now take Malcolm to his room and please help me ask the maids to serve him with a te of pasta..” La requested as she still had some left in the pot.


    “Okay I will…” Keisha agreed to her requests holding Malcolm by his hand.


    “Alright then see you. Bye Malcolm…” she waved at them and she hurried away with the food tray in her hand and headed to Nn’s study room.
