    Making sure no one had seen her, she skillfully sneaked out of the pce as she left for somewhere.


    Ca arrived in a small house that looked old and detached, it was located near the woods and there were barely any houses around that area.


    She stopped at the door as she knocked slowly. The rain was still drizzling.


    “Who’s there?” A low deep voice which sounded alert was heard.


    “Archie it’s me…” she whispered and the person seemed to have recognized her voice as they door sprang open.


    “Ca..” a man with rough ck hair and average looks called with a frown in his face.


    “Archie..” Ca called again, her face wearing a smile.


    “Can Ie in…” she requested hurriedly, as she didn’t want to risk being seen by anyone.


    “Yes please..” he invited and Ca walked in.


    “How are you doing?” She asked with a smile on her face.


    “As you can see..” he shrugged his shoulders, hinting that he was fine.


    “It’s quite surprising that you came to see me today Ca. I mean it’s been two months…” he deadpanned and Ca chuckled.


    “You know I’ve been away from the pack. I had some things to take care of..” she replied and Archie nodded in understanding.


    “Like nning to kill the Luna….” He said out and Ca scoffed.


    “I know you took the Poison from me. Probably by tomorrow, the king’s men are going toe knocking at my door. Ca you just put us in a big mess…” Archie stated but Ca had a calm expression on her face. That’s why she’de here, to make things right.


    “I was so close to killing La but that fool ruined all of my ns. Now all we need to do is make things right..” she said with a smile.


    “You’re going to take the me Archie..” she uttered in a stern voice as Archie looked up at her.


    “You’ve got to be kidding me Ca, there’s no way I’m going to do that” he shook his head. Ca was being absurd.


    “Please Archie, you’re the only one that can help me..” she pouted as she walked closer to him.


    “We’re mates Archie. You should be able to do anything for me..” she stopped in front of him and ced her hands on his neck.


    Archie was her fated mate, that she had found long ago, but no one had an idea about that. She had made him promise not to tell anyone about it.


    Archie was a low rank official in the pce and histe father happened to be an herbalist, that’s how she was able to steal the poison from him.


    But she refused to ept the mate bond, though she used him as her pawn, promising to get together once they had taken care of their enemies. Archie was another greedy but stupid man.


    “The mate you’ve refused to ept?” He raised a brow at her. Ca hardly came close to him unless she needed anything, neither had they mated or marked each other.


    “Come on Archie. I told you we would deal with that once we get rid of everybody in our path..” she said with a sly look on her face.


    “Take the me for me Archie. Please..” she begged. Once Archie would be arrested by Nn, she was going to take care of him and silence him for good.


    “Ca you know I can’t do that..”


    “Of course you can..” she tried to convince him.


    “Once Nn brings his men here, don’t let them know that I did all of this. Don’t let them know that I stole the poison from you. Go with them..” she persuaded.


    “Tell them you bribed Sarah by threatening her with her sick mother’s life. You know, just tell them that. They’ll buy your story..” she said. Ca was one maniptive b*tch, she knew how to get into people’s heads.


    “Then what? I get executed by the king?” He looked at her with a questioning gaze but she quickly waved him off.


    “No! I’m going to let you escape. I know everybody about the pce, when the time is right, I’ll get you out, I promise..” she said with a maniptive look on her face, she was hellbent on making Archie agree.


    “Ca I…”


    “Archie..” she held his hands as she had a sad look on her face.


    “Come here..” she leaned closer to him as nted a light kiss on his lips.


    “Do this for me okay..” she convinced and that single kiss seemed to have worked the magic when Archie shook his head in agreement.


    “Okay I’ll do it!” He Said.


    “Great!” Ca eximed in excitement, she was finally off the hook, now she had to take care of someone else, who was Archie.


    He was a poor man, born to a poor family, there was no way she would ever ept someone like Archie as her mate. Nn was the one she wanted. Strong, rich, handsome, resourceful, rich! Nn had everything she needed in a man and she was going to get him.


    “I’ll have to get going now..” she announced as her job was done.


    “But you just came..” he wanted to protest but Ca ced her index finger on his lip.


    “There’s a lockdown at the pce. Someone would notice if I’m gone for a long time. I promise to see you soon. Bye…” she blew a kiss at him and she used her hood to cover her head before she skillfully made her way out, leaving no choice that no one ever came there.
