“Get into the car La..” Nn said again this time his voiceced with impatient. She had been standing unmoving for quite some time now.


    “Go on, get in…” Xander motioned for La to go. La begam to move her feet as she walked slowly to Nn’s car.


    “Bye La, take care of yourself..” Xander waved at her.


    “Aren’t you going home?” She asked after getting in the back seat.


    “I have somethings to deal with..” he replied as Nn soon started the car, driving off.

    Nn parked his car at his garage and he stepped out Ca following suit, La doing the same.


    “Hmmm..” Ca inhaled deeply as she breathed in fresh air. She was finally at Nn’s house. It took a lot of persuasion toe here in the past and she’d never stay more than an hour.


    “Nn how about we have some drinks, what do you say?” She suggested happily. Her n was toe here and spend some time with Nn. Good quality time.


    “I’m busy..” came his curt reply as he went straight into his room.


    “So cold..” she scoffed, turning to La who was standing by the door.


    “What about you? Let’s go get some drinks?”


    “I don’t drink..” La politely refused. She badly wanted to ask Ca if she was the one that destroyed the reports.


    “Ca..” she began.


    “Yes do you need anything from me?” Ca questioned as she fought back the urge to walk up to La and give her a hot p for uttering her name.


    “Yes, I want the truth from you..” La said sternly.


    “The truth? What truth?”


    “Perchance did you touch any reports that were on my desk thest time you visited?” La inquired as Ca pursed her lips.


    “Yes I did..” she confirmed, shocking La beyond measure.


    “So you were the one responsible for it!! “La eximed in horror so her guts feeling was right after all. Ca was the one responsible for the ruination of the reports.


    “You did that?” She asked again in horror, unable to believe her ears why would Ca even think of doing such.


    “Yes! I ced them in the shredding machine and watched them shred to pieces..” she uttered with a menacing look on her face. She would have so much loved to see the look on La’s face when Nn scolded her for it.


    “I thought I was only doing you a favor..” she added her tone softening.


    “Doing me a favor? I almost lost my job!!” La said in anger. What stupid favor was she doing for her that almost cost her her job.


    “I’m sorry La..” Ca apologized in pretence as she feigned a sad face.


    “I’m really sorry. I promise..”


    “When I walked into your office, I saw the papers on the ground so I thought you wanted to discard them. I only ced them in the shredding machine to help you do that, I’m very sorry. I should have known that you still needed them..” she apologized again.


    Her goal was to act nice to La up to the point that she’d never know what hit her.


    “You’re sorry?” La chuckled in disbelief.


    “Yes I truly am. Why would I even think of destroying what you’ve worked so hard on purposely. I saw them on the floor I swear, maybe a wind must have blown them off..”


    “Look La..” she began on a very low tone as she stepped closer to La cing her hands on her shoulders.


    “I know we both started on a very wrong path but trust me I have nothing against you. You’re Nn’s mate and the Luna of our pack. I’d do nothing but protect you not hurt you. So please forgive this silly mistake of mine.” She begged with a sad expression on her face.


    If La knew about the truth, then Nn must be aware as well abd thest thing she wanted was Nn having a wrong impression of her.


    “Please forgive me” she pouted holding La’s hands.


    “All right, I forgive you..” La finally said. Maybe it was all a mistake after all.


    “Thanks La..” she jumped happily as she hugged La. Her bright smile turning into a sneer as they hugged.


    “You’re wee..”


    “I’m hungry” Ca said out loud after breaking out from the hug.


    “You can make something to eat. You’ll find some goods in the fridge and I think there’s also some leftover food..” La informed. She usually cooked inrge quantity and stored them just in case.


    “Can you help me make something to eat?” She requested pleadingly holding La’s hands again.


    “I’m tired, I need to retire…”


    “Please La..” she interuppted her.


    “I would have love to make something for myself but you see I’m really a bad cook. You know I was raised up like a queen so I can’t do things like this..” she informed emphasis on the word ‘ queen’


    That was what she was meant to be, Nn’s queen. Ca thought.


    “Okay, I’ll heat up some food..” La finally agreed as she walked over to the fridge.


    “How’s living with Nn?” Ca asked sitting on the kitchen counter.


    “Good. It’s like a dreame true for me..” La responded her face beaming with smiles as Ca’s face immediately went pale with disappointment.


    “Really?”


    “I thought you both were having issues?” She asked, tucking her hair behind her ear sheepishly.


    “Who told you that?” La chuckled. Nn was far from nice but there was no way she was going to tell Ca that. What was her business with her rtionship with him? She acted like the middle man all the time.


    “Nn is very sweet to me..” she said stirring the food on the stove.


    “But you guys go to work..”


    “It’s because I wanted to avoid rumors. You see Nn respects my decisions a lot and does whatever I tell him. I’m his Luna after all..” La deadpanned.

    “Don’t sweat it dear. Please make sure the food doesn’t get burnt. I should check after Maddox..” La informed walking away as she rolled her eyes. Those persky Lycans, they were really a handful to her!
