Nn swirled his chair from scratch side to side as he had an uneasy look on his face. He looked worried.


    The words La said to him the same before was stuck on his head and the more he tried to forget about it, the more it worried him the most.


    Was he being too harsh on her? Nn quickly warded off that thought as he picked up his phone which he used to call La.


    “Yes Nn, do you need anything?” La asked from the other side of the phone.


    “Come to my office..” he instructed and with that disconnected the call. La quickly dropped what she was doing as she rushed to his office.


    La’s mouth went dry. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart.


    Reluctantly, she gathered her things and left her office, heading for Nn’s. When she arrived, she knocked on the door, her hand trembling.


    “Come in,” Nn’s voice said from within. La took a deep breath and opened the door.


    “Yes Nn, is there anything you want me to do?” She asked him the moment she got into the office.


    “Lock the door behind you” he instructed in a stern voice.


    La’s heart skipped a beat, but she did as he asked, turning the lock with shaking hands.

    It was almost evening and time to get off work, what did he want now?


    “Come here,” hemanded and La walked slowly to his chair. He was dressed in a crisp ck suit, his icy blue eyes dark and intense.


    “Nn what do you want?” She asked as she got to where he sat. She hoped it was not what she was thinking, that he was nning to do.


    Before her mind could register anything else, Nn had already pulled her wrist as he made her sit on hisp.

    “We didn’t get to finish what we started yesterday..” he said in a cold steel voice as La gulped Loudly. But that was all his fault, he was the one who went berserk, not her.


    “What was that?” She stammered pretending as if she didn’t have an idea about what he was talking about.


    “Don’t act like a child La..” his voice suddenly became cold and La felt all her geo veins pop out.


    “You know exactly what I’m talking about…” he said, his tone softening a bit.


    “This is an office..” she stammered.


    “I don’t care, this is my office” A small smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

    Nn really loved the smell of her hair and how soft it felt in his hands.


    La remained unmoving as he did what he wanted, she wanted to tell and scream at him.


    But her body kept betraying her, she just couldn’t move from there. As she kind of enjoyed it.


    La’s breath caught in her throat. The sensation of his hands in her hair was sending shivers down her spine.


    “You have such beautiful hair,” he murmured. La’s cheeks flushed, and she felt herself melting into him.


    “Thank you,” she whispered as he shook his head slowly, fixing his gaze on her eyes. He had always liked her eyes, they were the perfect shade of brown.


    But knowing the kind of person Nn was, he would never confess to that fact.


    He leaned over as he buried his face at the crook of her neck.


    La’s heart skipped a beat and she froze, unsure of how to react. But then she felt his warm breath against her skin and she rxed, letting herself enjoy the sensation. He lingered there for a moment, and then pulled back, his eyes locked on hers.


    La couldn’t help but admire his beauty but then she badly wanted to ask if he was drunk though she didn’t smell any alcohol on him but that was unlike Nn. Thest time she remembered him to be gentle was the night he marked her. After that night he was far from gentle, not until today.


    He then began to ce light kisses on her neck which sent a burning sensation right through La’s body.


    La’s breath quickened and she tried to still her trembling hands. She had never felt this way before and she wasn’t sure what to do. But then she felt Nn’s hand on her cheek, gently turning her face towards him.


    “Stop looking away from me La..” he uttered in a drowsy voice as he moved his hands to where he had marked her.


    La felt a sparkling sensation within her the moment he touched his mark. It felt so good and rxing.


    Then he suddenly picked up his phone as La’s eyes narrowed as she wondered what he was going to do but then he dialed a number.

    “Hey Nn, wassup do you need anything?” Xander’s voice asked through the phone speakers.


    “Make sure no onees to my floor” he instructed.


    La’s eyes widened, and she felt her cheeks flush. Was he… was he really nning on doing what she thought he was nning on doing? She felt her heart pounding in her chest, and she couldn’t seem to catch her breath.


    “No problem, man,” Xander said.


    “I’ll take care of it. Is everything okay?”


    Nn hesitated and then said, “Yeah, everything’s fine. I just need some privacy, that’s all.”


    There was a brief pause and then Xander said, “Got it. I’ll make sure no one interrupts you.”


    “What about La?” Xander questioned but Nn had already disconnected the call.


    La was still in surprise when she noticed him pick up a small remote.


    La watched as he pressed a button on the remote and the blinds in his office began to lower. Her heart was beating so fast, she thought it might burst out of her chest. What was he doing? What did he have in mind? She feltpletely out of her depth, and she didn’t know what to do. She just sat there frozen as the blinds closed, casting the room in darkness.
