When it comes to shopping, it is always possible to ask for a discount regardless of what you are purchasing. There are really only two outcomes. You either get a discount or the clerk says no. Of course there is a minute chance of a third outcome happening. The clerk might suddenly get on the counter, whip out an ak, and whilst jumping off the counter, 360 no-scope you. The third outcome is however foreseeable. If you see the clerk walking towards a counter, just run.
