Every bike that''s isn''t extremely old has a so called frame number. Somewhere on the frame of your bike, usually the underside near the bottom, you''ll find either a sticker or an etching of your frame number. This number is unique to your bike and is the most useful tool to getting your bike back, if it ever gets stolen.


    It''s also one of the ways to prove that a bike is really yours.


    This is one of the things you should photograph and even email yourself just to have a copy.
