The Can Opener Bridge is a perfect example of horrendous design. It''s as the name suggests a bridge. This bridge is however slightly too low for a typical tall semi-truck to pass under. This results in numerous destroyed trucks each year.


    Of course there are numerous warning signs, but just as many idiots who believe that they''re immune.


    Raising/ lowering that bridge is only somewhat possible. Directly under the bridge underpass, you have the server. On top of the bridge, you have a railway. A few years ago they were able to raise the bridge by 8 inches, which massively reduced the number of incidents. Emphasis on how it only reduced the number of cases.
