In recent times everyone has been talking about "The" Coronavirus. However this is a slight misconception as the Coranvirus is actually a large family of viruses. The one that''s currently wreaking havoc is just one type of Coronavirus. Now they have officially given it a name to set the standard for future cases and to prevent people from using other names that could be considered inaccurate.


    The new official name is Covid-19 and stands for: Corona Virus Disease 2019.
