Chapter 3: Assembling the Team
Before they could compete, they needed a team of five warriors, each with a different element.
For hours, they searched the camps, but no one stood out—until they saw her.
A girl with light blue hair was training with two swords, slicing through training dummies with incredible speed and precision. Every strike was enhanced by a thin coating of water, making her slashes deadlier than normal steel.
Luke nudged Ross. “She looks strong.”
Ross shrugged. “She’s alright.”

The girl turned, her calm yet confident aura undeniable. "You two are staring. Either challenge me or say something."
Luke chuckled. “We’re looking for a teammate. You interested?”
She sheathed her swords. "Depends. Do you think you can keep up with me?"
Ross smirked. "You talk big for someone with water powers."
In a flash, she unsheathed her blade, sending a sharp Aqua Slash past Ross’s face. The water slash sliced through a tree behind him, leaving a clean cut.
Ross gulped. “…Okay, you’re in.”
She smiled. “Kaya.”
With their Water user secured, they kept searching.
Later that night, they saw a lone fighter taking on five opponents at once.
Using nothing but Air Strikes—sharp wind-like shuriken that cut through the air—he dodged and countered effortlessly. His name was Mount, and after witnessing his skill, they invited him without hesitation.
The final spot remained, and soon they found Sebez, a 15-year-old Earth user. She was older than the rest but had incredible control over her element, creating Earth Walls and Rock Slides with ease.
Ross, however, found himself a little… distracted.
“She’s… strong,” he muttered, watching her effortlessly take down another challenger.
Luke raised an eyebrow. “That’s the fifth time you’ve said that.”
Kaya smirked. “He has a crush.”
Ross glared at them. “Shut up.”
And with that, the team was complete.
