The Wedding Will Go On As Usual
The whole bathroom was filled with steam. Through its blurry ss door, one could see a woman
leaned her tender body against the back of a man.
"I''ll always be by your side, but now it''s different. Pearl came back. Richard, I''m really afraid."
Her sobbing voice was mixed with the sound of running water.
Adriana had always know how to be a weak woman in front of Richard.
It was easier for woman being weak to gain a man''s pity, especially when she told him that she could

The sound of running water inside the bathroom stopped abruptly as Richard turned off the shower.
"Is this the reason why you tried to chase her out of Kityall?"

"Didn''t you threaten Mr. Watson to extend Pearl''s work suspension?"
Richard''s voice echoed in the spacious bathroom. His question sounded more like a verdict.

Before Adriana could finish her words, her hands were pulled back. The force pushed her back by two
steps.
Richard wrapped his bath towel around his body and coldly said: "Put on your clothes. Let''s talk
outside."
Adriana''s face darkened from humiliation as she watched Richard leaving the bathroom mercilessly.
Her heart was now burning with hatred and jealousy towards Pearl.
Richard would never treat her so indifferently if it wasn''t for Pearl.
The night deepened as dark clouds covered the moon, blocking all traces of light from it.
Adriana had taken off her clothes before she entered the bathroom. By the time she came out, a bath
towel was wrapped around her. To her dismay, Richard wasn''t in his room. A gust from the open
balcony blew against her. Then she saw him smoking in the balcony. What was he thinking about? She
probably would never find out.
Adriana found her clothes put on the sofa. She hesitated, but in the end, she still picked them up and
get dressed.
She had been aware that Richard was never patient, especially if he had to deal with women. If it was
not for her sensibility, she would not have be his fiancee, regardless of how hard she''d tried.
The wind was unforgiving at the balcony as it constantly blew at the lit cigarette held by Richard.
"Richard," Adriana said nervously.
Richard gave her a sidelong nce. Seeing her already get dressed, his expression softened a little.
"I''ll let the driver send you home."
Adriana lowered her head, looking uneasy. "Yes, I admit it. I indeed doesn''t want her to stay in Kityall
City."
Hearing this, Richard frowned.

interfered with his personal affairs, but he understood why she did this.

Hearing this, Richard turned around, frowning slightly.

She lowered her head and wiped her tears.
After a long while, Richard pulled her into his embrace, "The wedding will go on as usual."
It was impossible for him to get back to Pearl. Even if her children were really his, seven years had still
been too long. Pearl was too cruel to have left him without a trace for seven years.
No one was willing to by their love.
In his arms, Adriana''s sobbing gradually faded away. She lowered her head, and there was a hint of
satisfaction from her expression.
How could she let go of something that she had worked so hard for so long? It was all part of her n.
To her, the more she forced it on Richard, he would end up hating he. But if she simply gave in, the

Pearl let out a sigh of relief after Steven had left.
