Chapter 45 Nobody Could Disturb His Perfect Life.


    Alex knew what she meant, although Pearl did not finish.


    "How are things between you and him?"


    "Who? What do you mean?" Pearl yed dumb.


    Noticing that she didn''t want to mention about it, he didn''t ask more. "Nothing, just eat."


    Pearl never mentioned Richard when they were studying abroad,  If he had not seen them dating by


    chance when they were in college, he wouldn''t know they had been together.


    After lunch, Pearl and Alex came out from the cafeteria together.


    It was in the afternoon. Shehad a bad time with the crew earlier. So she was not in a hurry to go back.


    She found a cool area in the hospital garden and rested there.


    "Thank you, Alex. If it weren''t for you, I would have nothing to eat. The food is pretty good."


    "If you like it, you cane here for lunch."

    But you''re a doctor, so I''ll tell them, and you''ll be able to go in."


    Pearl originally wanted to decline. After all, it was not good to have this privilege. However, Brandon,


    who seemed indifferent to everything, loved pork chops the most. So she had the cheek to ept the


    offer . "Thank you."


    "Don''t be so reserved around me."


    They were chatting when a middle-aged man walked to them. He scanned the surroundings before


    walking to Pearl. "Are you Miss Pearl?" He asked.

    "Who are you?" Pearl asked.


    "Our Madam wants to talk to you. Are you free now?"


    "Your Madam?"


    Pearl scanned him and frowned. She didn''t feel good about it.


    Pearl followed him to the hospital''s underground parking lot. When the elevator door opened, there was


    a cold wind whizzing on her calf, which made her tremble.


    The man stopped two meters away from a car and reached his hand towards it. "Please."


    Followed his direction, Pearl nced at the car.


    It was a ck Porsche, with cover on windows. It was impossible to peer into the car, but you could see


    the outside clearly from the inside.


    Pearl opened the door and saw the person in the car. She could guess what was going on.


    "Miss Yonng, long time no see." In the car, Helena sat upright. She still looked elegant and dignified,


    as seven years ago.


    "Mrs. Zellweger?" Pearl pulled the door with one hand, and her back stiffened.


    " Is Miss Yonng going to talk to me like that?"


    Helena''s voice was cold and a little arrogant. Pearl came back to her senses and frowned. Then she


    got in the car and closed the door.


    She breathed deeply and asked, "Mrs. Zellweger, what can I do for you?"


    "It has been seven years since we metst time. You''re still as beautiful as ever. I heard that you''re


    working in a hospital and is a chief surgeon, right?"


    Her tone was light, and atthough it was apliment, but her attitude remained the same as seven


    years ago. Obviously, Helena did not think highly of Pearl.


    Pearlposed herself and said in a calm voice, "Mrs. Zellweger, you''re not here for chatting, right?


    What do you want?"


    Helena stared at Pearl and retorted, "What do you think?"


    "I broke up with Richard already."


    Pearl said directly. She stared at Helena and continued frankly, "We broke up seven years ago. You


    should know that better than anyone else, so I really don''t understand why you came here."


    Helena sneered, "You denied and wanted to get rid of everything from the start, huh? If it was anyone


    else, I''m pretty sure that they wouldn''t know how to reply, and they''ll probably think that they''re making


    trouble out of nothing."

    "Miss Yonng, you probably knew that Richard is getting married, with your bet friend. So shouldn''t you


    keep your distance from your friend''s fiance? Or doesn''t it matter for you to flirt around with your ex?"


    Pearl frowned her eyebrows, and she looked a little mad. "What do you mean?"


    "Come on! I''ve heard all the rumors in thepany. If you didn''t go looking for Richard first, I believe


    that he would never be involved with you again. I came here today to tell you to stay away from him."


    Helena''s words were overbearing, and she was trampling Pearl,without caring about Pearl''s feelings.

    righteous as you were seven years ago."

    "I am busy, excuse me." Pearl put the money on the seat and got out of the car, before Helena could

    Then Helena got out of the car behind her, and the sound of high heels echoed in the big parking lot.

    Pearl put her hands in her pockets and stopped. She asked coldly, without looking back. "Is there


    anything else?"


    "If you meet Richard again, I''ll make you pay price. I know you don''t have anything to lose, but how


    about the Yonng family? Could you abandon them? I heard that Trevino Group is trying to finance to


    xpand thepany."


    Helena''s words made Pearl''s face darkened, and her hands in the pocket also clenched into a fist.


    She knew Helena. Seven years ago, she knew that Helena was a woman of her words. If she said that,


    she would definitely do it.
