Read the story to find out more about both ;)Why did I write this?Well, I've always been fascinated by meteorology and specifically severe weather, ever since I was a kid. Storm Chasing always stood out to me as this niche part of culture that has such a rich but relatively modern history. When I see supercells and tornadoes, I see the closest thing to eldritch horror that we experience in our real world. It always bothered me that there was no fantasy media that dug deep into storm chasing culture. So, naturally, I decided to create a world for myself. Where Storm Chasing is an important and growing cultural phenomena. Where Storm Chasers are revered like Superheroes, and where the bad apples of their bunch, may resort to villainy. Where supercells are called tempests, and the strongest of their kind, Arch-Tempests. Where eldritch monsters loom in the skies, and their harbingers descend to cleanse the world.
