Introduction: The world ended decades ago when the Yellowstone caldera blew, this resulted in massive climatic shifts and thus war for resources as famine spread. There was a nuclear exchange and any form of government that hadn't collapsed from the volcano soon did after having the sun form in their backyard.Back in North America the ash never settled for some unknown reason and with radiation and some other incomprehensible power the Ashlands as they soon became known are a struggle to survive in.Having reached the end of his life our main character is forcibly taken from the Ashlands by an unknown power to serve as part of an interdimensional force tasked with preventing the end of the world. With a new body and a new chance at life how will the grizzled Ashlander adjust to life where struggle is a foreign concept?...
