    A distant and sarcastic voice reverberated throughout the ward. Fiona straightened her shoulders and

    Fiona''s face was red with anger as she continued to shout, "Don''t you have any sense of shame? You


    are his sister! Why are you so..." She barely stopped herself from throwing expletives at Celine.


    "Shameless?" Celine supplied. With a sneer, she grabbed Fiona''s cor and pushed her towards the


    ward table.


    "Celine, what are you doing?" Fiona was shocked. As she spoke, her back hit the corner of the table.


    Frightened, she covered her lower abdomen with one hand and pushed Celine backward with the


    other. "What are you doing?"


    "Huh? Why do you care about Charles'' child?" Celine snorted. She kept mentioning things that would


    anger Fiona.


    "Shut up! It''s not his child!" Overcame by rage and fear, she turned around to face Celine. She closed


    her eyes and pushed Celine away with all her strength. Celine felt herself falling but did nothing to


    protect herself. The moment that she was pushed away, she let out a smile of relief. Fiona did not see


    the victorious look on Celine''s face.


    "Ahhhh!"


    Hearing a scream, Fiona quickly opened her eyes only to see Celine screaming in horror. Her pupils


    dted as she watched her stumble on her high heels. She stretched her hand to reach for her, but she


    lost her bnce and fell on her back.


    "Celine!" Startled, Fiona reached out to help her up, but she was one step slower.


    With a loud thud, Celine fell on the cold floor. The sudden fall shocked Fiona and she stepped back


    unconsciously.


    "Uh..." Facing the ceiling, Celine''s hand was still open in mid-air. Stabbed by a ring pain in her


    stomach, and she let out a painful whimper.


    "Celine... Celine!" As soon as Fiona caught to her senses, she ran to Celine with a pale face. She knelt


    down in front of her and held her head, trying to pull her up.


    "My... belly..." Celine said intermittently as she moaned breathlessly. Her face was contorted in pain as


    she looked down at her abdomen.


    "Belly?" With a stunned expression, Fiona mover her gaze to Celine''s belly, only to see that there was


    dark liquid flowing out of her crotch. Sweating profusely, Fiona stretched out her hand to touch the


    liquid on the floor. It felt warm and sticky on her fingers. She then lifted her hand to examine the liquid.


    The next second, her hand trembled and her face went pale. "Blood! You are bleeding!" she said in a


    panicked voice.


    "It hurts... My baby..." Celine cried.


    "Your child..." Fiona repeated in horror. Her body was frozen in fear, but her heart was beating fast


    against her chest. Under the moonlight, the red blood was reflected in her eyes.


    Celine''s face grew even paler and her lips were bloodless. However, there was a faint smile on her lips.


    ''My child, you have fulfilled your mission,'' she thought to herself before losing consciousness.


    "Doctor! Is there any doctor here?" Fiona shouted loudly and hugged Celine close to her body.


    Although she hated Celine, she worried about the child in her belly. Like her, she was also a mother


    now. She knew that the pain of losing a child was worse than death.


    The doctor on duty soon noticed Fiona''s non-stop call for help. Her hoarse screams, the messy

    Spencer squinted his eyes. It seemed that he was only five hundred meters away from the base. He


    turned his head and looked at the towering trees around him. He patted the thick and hard bark with his


    palm and decided to climb up the tree to observe the happenings inside the headquarters.

    He leaned on a branch and removed the backpack from his bag. He then took out a telescope which he


    had prepared in advance. He peered through the telescope and memorized the terrain. This time, he


    only wanted to know the exact location of the X headquarters. Thinking that the job was too easy, he


    snickered to himself, ''Well, Charles, be careful next time!''


    There was a hugeboratory in the west of the base. People in white gowns busily worked even in the
