    hand tiptoed and fed with her good left hand a long piece of apple to the man on the bed. The man


    squinted his eyes with a smile, opening his mouth and biting the apple. A fashionable woman sitting


    next to them was peeling an apple with her hanging down. She looked up at the man and the little girl,


    her eyes filled with happiness.


    This was how a perfect family looked like.


    This scene was so beautiful, yet so piercing. At the very least, it stung Joey''s eyes.


    All of her excitement and longings were broken to pieces, as if a basin of cold water was poured down


    on her head. Joey was cold from head to toe, her heart falling into an eternal ice cave.


    On the way Joey had thought of countless possibilities of meeting Allen. Perhaps she would meet


    George or Ynda, but she did not intend to avoid them anymore. Even in front of them, she would tell


    Allen the words on her mind that had been suppressed.


    However, she had never expected to see such a scene.


    His wife was peeling apples for him, and his daughter was feeding him apples. Everything was so


    beautiful and happy, and her appearance became unnecessary.
