In any case, it was Jocelyn who offered to invite Calvin to lunch. But now she had to put off Todd''s lunch invitation. She said in her mind that she was
sorry for standing him up again!
Anyway, she used to stand him up a lot. He wouldn''t mind if she blew him off again today, would he?
Jocelyn jogged to catch up with Calvin, who had long legs, and got in the exclusive elevator.
As they stood side by side in the elevator, Jocelyn couldn''t help but start gabbing, "Mr. Austin, why did you just hang up on Todd when I was on the
phone with him? That''s rude."
Calvin turned around, threw her up against the elevator wall, and lifted her up. "What''s wrong with hanging up on him? Do you have a problem with
me lifting you up now?"
He didn''t even settle the score with her. She ran into his office, and tantly flirted with other men, acting like he was visible.
Her feet were off the ground, and Jocelyn was so anxious that she kicked her legs. "Hey, put me down! You bastard!"
Calvin realized that he had got a little crazy. Irritation somehow surged over him. He let go of her and straightened his clothes.
As her feet touched the ground, her heart started to race. Jocelyn pressed on her chest and red at him.
God! She had never seen such a man like him. Amacho guy might only throw his lover up against the wall and kiss her. How dare Calvin be so
violent?
God damn it!
Jocelyn literally thought Calvin must have had no prior romantic experience. Since he had never been in a rtionship, Jocelyn felt it was her duty to
find this straight guy a date.
She had to teach him how to hit on a girl in the first ce!
Jocelyn tilted her head as her eyes fell on him. She pursed her lips and came to think of it before asking, "Tell me, Mr. Austin, do you know how to
corner a girl to the wall and kiss her? And do you know what is Kabe-Don?"
"..." Calvin knew this word, but he didn''t use it much. Why would she ask him that?
Jocelyn pped her hands and said, "As I expected, you don''t even know this! Come on, I can teach you for free! I''m sure you are able to learn it."
Jocelyn came up with it on the spur of the moment. When she leaned forward, Calvin subconsciously stepped back, trying to keep a distance from
her.
But Jocelyn didn''t give up, propped her hand against the wall, and pushed him to the corner.
Because she was much shorter than him, she couldn''t quite get into the position and had to get as close as she could to him. "Mr. Austin... See? This
is a Kabe-Don!"
Calvin held his breath and subconsciously resisted being close to a woman. Then he averted his eyes.
Jocelyn saw this and said, "Why don''t you look at me? How can you learn with an attitude like that?"
Who said he didn''t know how to do it?
Calvin suddenly whirled around and held her up against the elevator wall hard.
Jocelyn''s back mmed into the wall, and she gasped. "Hiss..."
This was killing her. Jocelyn hit the elevator wall so badly that she almost had internal bleeding!
Pushing him away, Jocelyn gave him the stink eye, shook her head, and sighed, “Mr. Austin. you''re so screwed! You''re damned! Do you know what''s
wrong with you? It''s not that you''re allergic to women. It''s that you''re a romance killer! You have to change. I rmend you a book called To Nerds:
How to Flirt with Women. You must read it! If you don''t read it, your life will be over!"
Calvin, "..."
For the first time in his life, someone regarded him as a romance killer.
What the hell was that?
Jocelyn didn’t rmend it to him for her own sake, but because she felt sympathetic for him.
He was aplete stranger to romance. If he didn''t change himself, he would never get the woman he liked.
In the animal world, males like him would be among the first to go extinct.
Jocelyn gave him the speech for a long time, but he just got his disapproving face on. She was like talking to a brick wall.
They took the elevator down to the underground garage. Calvin ignored her and walked straight out
Jocelyn made a gesture of throwing a punch behind him and made a face as she was following him out.
She got into Calvin''s car. Calvin drove the car himself. Halfway there, Jocelyn''s cell phone rang. She lowered her head to check it out, and it was
Ernest calling.
Calvin heard her cell phone ringing and gave her a sidelong nce. He was displeased! If she dare flirt with other men in front of him, he wouldn''t let
her off so easily!
Jocelyn subconsciously nced at Calvin and saw that he kept a straight face. She was a little hesitant and wondered if she should answer the call in
front of him.
Was he going to grab her phone again?
To be on the gafe side, Jocelyn
asked for his\permission before
answeringthe phone. "Mr. Austin, it''s
the presitent of Icehive -
Entertainment. He''s probably calling
about work. It''s about the Siumix
endorsement. Can I answerit?"
That was a good attitude to have!
Calvin nodded graciously, "You can take it!"
Jocelyn got his permission and picked up the phone, "Hello?"
When Jocelyn heard what Ernest said on the phone, she froze. She frowned, and her nerves were already stretched to breaking point.
She couldn''t hold back and shouted at the phone, “Ernest. you bastard! Don''t you dare mess up!"
When she hung up. she was so furious that her chest heaved, and tears came to her eyes.
Calvin caught a quick glimpse and saw her raise her hand and wipe away her tears. "What''s the matter? Why are you crying again?”
Jocelyn wiped away her tears, grabbed Calvin''s arm, and begged, "Please, Mr. Austin, can you give me a ride to Eastern Suburbs Cemetery in
Glebey?"
Jocelyn didnot tell him why she
wanted tago there. Calvin guessed
that something had happened to
her. He immediately turned the car
around and drove up to Eastern
Suburbs Cemetery.
to“ “
When the car arrived at Eastern Suburbs Cemetery, she got out of the car at once and ran to her mother''s grave.
When she got close, she found her
mother''sgrave had been dug up.
The brieks and stones were tossed
everywhere, The small sarcophagus
in the grave was empty, andthe urn
was gone.
“
“Mom...
Seeing this, Jocelyn fell to her knees in front of her mother''s tombstone inconsbly.
She could never have expected that Ernest would have someone to dig up her mother''s ashes. He would probably threaten her and ask her to return
the Siumix endorsement!
It was just an endorsement. Did he have to go this far?
Jocelyn was ovee with grief. Her mother deserved to be at peace. She was so sorry this happened to her mother!
It was more serious than a fight over an endorsement at this point. Ernest was a terrible asshole and broke Jocelyn''s heart.
What he did was simply unconscionable!
