“What does it mean? How could she be in there?”
Before Deborah could respond, the door to the operating room swung open.
The doctor wheeled Evelyn out on the gurney, emerging from the room.
Adrian saw the person on the bed, Evelyn’s face was pale and her expression was dazed.
The doctor began, “The surgery went very smoothly. We administered anesthesia to Ms. Moore before
the procedure, and she’s still a bit groggy as the effects are just wearing off. After resting for about half
an hour in the ward, she should be back to normal.”
Deborah nodded, “Alright, thank you, Doctor.”
Adrian stood still for quite a while before suddenly snapping back to reality.
