Chapter 129 Turning a Blind Eye to It

He was drugged because of his carelessness. But he never expected the drug would work so fast. He

stumbled out of the bar. In fear of being found by other people, he tried to walk on the path, but still

couldn''t hold on and fell to the ground.

Before he lost his consciousness, he saw the woman he met in Aegean Sea in a daze. He believed

that he was having a hallucination because he missed her too much. He closed his eyes and fell asleep

unwillingly. When he awoke, he saw that the woman sitting by bedside was asleep. He could tell that

she was very tired from her face.

He wouldn''t give up on her since he encountered her! Aadam clenched his fists and swore secretly.

"Hello, I''m Aadam." he put on a smile and shook hands with Adide for a few minutes. Finally,

Antonio couldn''t stand it anymore and then made him let go of her hand. He didn''t want to admit that

his heart beat fast just now. These years, he had encountered countless women and had affairs with

many of them, but no one had given him such strong feeling as Adide did.

It was her! He wanted her to be his lover this whole life. A voice appeared in his mind and he could no

longer perish the thought after that.

"How are things going with you?"

Adide took the initiative to strike up a conversation with him, making both of them stunned. And he

    just stared at her.

Antonio realized that something was wrong, so he grasped Adide''s hand quickly, saying, "Sorry, it

suddenly urred to me that I have something to do. I must leave now. I''lle to visit you another

day. "After that, he pulled Adide and walked towards the door before Aadam said something to show

    his politeness.

Suddenly, he turned around, finding that Adide was standing there and staring at him stubbornly. But

it seemed that she wasn''t going to leave. Antonio frowned and asked, "What''s wrong?"

"You can just go back now, but I want to reminisce about the good old days with my friend."

Adide said without much emotion, but leaving Aadam wild with joy.

He didn''t care about what the rtionship between Antonio and Adide was. Rich youngdies and

gentlemen of his ss often married for business. Therefore, as long as Adide liked him, he

    wouldn''t give up her.

Antonio was suddenly livid with his deep eyes bing cold. He was sad. He clenched his fists to

remind himself that he could no longer do anything that hurt Adide since he had done it before. He

took a deep breath in case that he would treat her with violence like what he had done before.

After calming down little by little, he walked closer to Adide and bent over her. He had never tried to

please other people, but now he lowered his voice, trying not to let her feel the slightest violence, "No.

I''m afraid that you will be in danger if you stay here alone."

He talked in such a humble way, without temper and dignity. Adide had to admit that the defense

she just built in her heart was gradually eroding by him. She shook her head and got rid of the

unrealistic thoughts in her mind. She wondered that she couldn''t forget the way he had treated the

Swift''s Group and her child. He used to be heartless and never repented. She forced herself not to

soften, stared at him with a sneer and then retorted slowly, "It is safe here and I know Aadam very

    well."

    She knew him very well?

Antonio was extremely angry at hearing her saying so. How could she believe Aadam just after

meeting him once? How could she say she knew him very well?

He didn''t know that Adide had saved Aadam before, so he couldn''t stop his anger. But he knew that

he was wrong and wanted topensate Adide very much. He took a look at Aadam.

Aadam was dressed in a sea-blue suit while he was wearing a formal ck suit that seemed a little

overcautious. Compared with him, Aadam was indeed as dazzling as the sun in the morning.

He also had to admit that Adide''s outfit matched Aadam. They looked like lovers while he seemed to

    be an outsider.

Antonio was silent. He couldn''t leave here but he couldn''t stay here, either. As a result, he became an

outsider. He was furious but had no way to vent his anger, therefore nearly drinking up the bottle of red

wine on the table quickly as if he was drinking water.

After draining ss after ss, Antonio leaned against the table. He squinted at what was before his

eyes. The happier they chatted with each other, the more difficult it was for him to relieve from anger.

Poor single woman came here alone. It was rare to see a rich and handsome man with grave mouth as

if hurt emotionally. Several women got up the courage and toasted to him. Antonio didn''t even took a

look at them, but just carried dark face and said some simple words in a deep voice, "Go away!"

Some of them were still unwilling to give up, trying to say something. Antonio poured the red wine on

the women''s face without ceremony. He quickly rose up and shambled while looking at those women.

He knew their thoughts very well.

When Antonio was about to shout abuse at them, he saw Aadam and Adide who were not far away.

Aadam said something interesting to Adide. She covered her mouth with her hand, but Antonio

could tell that she was smiling from her eyebrows and eyes. He had long not seen her smile at him.

The more he thought about it, the sadder he became. He closed his eyes for a while and when he

raised his head, some emotions shed in her eyes. Before anyone could figure out what it was, he

had swept her up into his arms the next moment. There happened to be some fruits on the table. He

frivolously picked up a cherry and fed it to her, "I just thought you were my annoying wife. Did I scare

    you?"

He touched her chin. Obviously, she never expected that his attitude would change totally and

therefore waspletely stunned. After Antonio repeated what he said, the woman suddenly realized

something. She faked a delicate and aggrieved expression, clenched her hands into empty fists and hit

Antonio''s chest gently, ining, "Yes, Mr. Antonio. I was scared to death just now."

She often attended the parties of upper ss people, so she knew the name of some big shots. Even

though she hadn''t met Antonio before, she had seen him in financial news on various kinds of major

newspapers and knew really much about him.

Adide also had noticed what his behavior and found it a little bit funny. He was still childish. But it

was undeniable that she felt ufortable when seeing him embracing other woman into his arms.

"Are you looking at Mr. Antonio?"

Aadam said a few words to her, but she didn''t respond to him. He turned around and found that she

was looking at Antonio who was far away. He also felt ufortable. Antonio did all those things

deliberately to make Adide look at him and think about him.

Aadam disliked talking in a roundabout way, so he asked directly.

Adide was stunned and shook her head to deny it unconsciously, "No, I just remembered something

    else."

Antonio was saying something to the woman in her arms, making herugh behind her hand. She

indeed hated him and no longer loved him. Why was she still ufortable when seeing him hold

other woman in his arms? She wondered.

Why would she still be in a trance, wondering if he had done this to annoy her?

Once the idea urred to her, it would grow wild if it wasn''t cleaned thoroughly.
