Chapter 76 A Set-up


    Since Adide wasn’t on alert, rissa purposely appointed with her at the café near Adide’s home


    on the certain day she had chosen.


    Adide wanted to refused her but she mentioned Koby, so Adide had to meet her.


    It was chill outside. Adide felt colder as she was pregnant and stay weak.


    Da called a taxi for her. The driver turned on the air-conditioner as he found Adide looked weak


    and pale.


    Shivering with cold, she got off the taxi with the help of Da. She was dumbfounded as she noticed


    rissa also got the café.


    “Let’s talk about Koby.”


    Adide asked her as soon as they sat down.


    rissa crossed her legs, ignoring the question.


    With a hint of annoyance in her eyes, Adide frowned and asked again. rissa still kept silent.


    “Da, I want Cappino, please.”

    Adide knew rissa purposely asked Da away. “What do you want to tell me?” If rissa didn’t


    talk to her, she’d leave immediately.


    An unassuming smile curved her lips as she pressed her back against the sofafortably. She


    looked at the outside and asked, “Do you know what I can see from here?”


    Adide was dumbfounded but nodded. She loved this spot as she could see Antonio’s office from


    here. The special ss of his office could allow him to look at the outside clearly, but people outside


    couldn’t see the inside.


    She talked about Koby in the way as usual as talking about the weather. “Actually, I…I didn’t hate Koby.


    It was just because he knew my secrets.”


    rissa purposely exasperated Adide. As she had expected, Adide couldn’t suppress her anger


    as she clenched her fists tight and gritted her eyes, bellowing, “He just bluffed to scare you. If you


    hadn’t been guilty, you wouldn’t have been so terrified as to kill him.”


    Then rissa continued, “How pathetic he was! It was you who made him lose his life.”

    Adide was too angry to say anything.


    Then rissa’s another word got Adide entirely lose control. “Never mind, my sister. His life was


    cheap.”

    Adide rose to her feet from the sofa and lunged at her, pping her in the face, insanely roaring, “I’ll


    kill you.”


    “Are you mad? Because I brough up Channing?” rissa also stood up to meet Adide’s eyes.


    Adide was confused and questioned, “What the hell are you talking about?”


    “Didn’t you love him?”


    Adide was in anger as she snapped, “Yep! So what? But…”


    Suddenly, her hand was grabbed by someone before she could finish her words. She turned around to


    find Antonio, which shocked her to death.


    “Listen, Antonio, I can exin.” Adide hastily exined to him, not caring about rissa’s words.


    But rissa quickly wept. “Antonio, I saw her with Channing together just now, so I came to ask her if


    she still love Channing.”


    Adide was going crazy as she was aware that she was set up by rissa again.


    She was insanely furious enough to lunge at rissa’s belly and screamed, “Go to the hell, bitch!”


    Then rissa was hit by Adide and bumped into the wall. After seconds, rissa covered her belly


    with hands and cried, “Ah! It hurts! Ouch! Anto…nio! It hurts!”


    Antonio hastily pushed Adide away and found the blood on the ground.


    “Adide, I couldn’t believe you’d be so ruthless.”


    Then he held rissa in his arms and left.


    Adide walked to the sofa and looked at the blood. It was impossible she’d lose her baby since she


    didn’t get pregnant.


    Hanna and Jerry were sure that rissa didn’t have a bun in the oven, and rissa had confessed to


    her that she pretended to be pregnant.


    Was she in her period now? Then she shook her head. No. She had to go to the hospital to figure it


    out. She hastily jumped into a cab.


    After Antonio sent rissa into the operation room, he waited for her anxiously outside. At the time,


    Adide scurried here out of breath.


    Antonio also became insane as he heard she admitted that she still loved Channing and he rudely


    grabbed Adide by the arm. “Why do you hurt rissa? Don’t you know she has my baby? I’ll kill you

    “You still love Channing Darnell, right? Why? Am I not good enough for you?” Adide was scared
