Do you know the story of the Odyssey by Homer? Or have you at least watched Epic the Musical by Jorge Rivera-Herrans?Well, are you curious about how Penelope kept his family and throne safe for these past 20 years? If you are look no further. With a fantasy twist, that takes the story off of Earth, the story starts the day before Odysseus leaves for Troy. Faced with greedy nobles, who want the power of just being her regent would mean, Penelope has to do all she can and then some to prevent these men from out doing her, by at least staying one step ahead of them. What what Penelope do or rather yet, become, to stay strong, and not show the weaknesses that everyone is searching from her. Watch how she changes when infant Telemachus is threatened, watch how she prevents him from catching on to her double life as he grows up without a father, to teach him what it truly means to be king, warrior, and hero. This narrative, will have some indirect ties to the Odyssey by Homer or The King's Twisted Path (a reliable narrator 3rd pov of the Odyssey that will take place in this same fantasy world, by myself). In this, you will get to meet the gods, and how Penelope indirectly influences them. Some Gods you will meet, and not as you know them either:Zeus, Hera, Hades, Persephone, Athena, Ares, Aphrodite, Poseidon, Hestia... to name a few, and some of their own mythology that ties in either directly or indirectly with the Trojan War or what follows. And as always read my work with care, I really delve into philosophical thinking, and because it's a book that deals with Gods, you need to be warned, SA planning will occur, planning of unaliving people and the follow through amongst other things. Though I might not write out the scenes where the events happen, I do and will pay tribute, regardless of today's moral ethics on subjects such as these, as there is no black and white in my writing regardless of how you attempt to interpret, life is always shades of gray.My Goal is to set a weekly publish schedule, but it just depends on my 2 job work schedule, as this is going to be priority writing #1, because I know Epic Community members (on youtube) have expressed interest)
