Chapter 81: He Suits Me Better
The four handsome young men announced the lucky numbers they had picked respectively. An uproar
with envy and jealousy was raised on the scene.
When it was Freddie’s turn, Hayden concentrated and look over at the stage.
Now Freddie had a considerable fan base. When he was picking up the lucky number, arge group of
young girls were surrounding him with obsessive gazes.
“The number I picked is No. 28.”
The young man’s clear voice echoed in the hall. Checking the number in their hands, his fans heaved
sighs.
Suddenly a child’s voice rang out from the crowd.
“I’m No.28! Freddie! It’s me!”
Her sweet childish voice drew everyone’s attention sessfully. The crowd made a way automatically.
A little girl in a light yellow t-shirt and blue overalls was hopping up and down excitedly at the spot.
Seeing others make a way for her, she rushed in front and climbed onto the stage on all fours. Then
she threw herself into Freddie’s arms.
“I can go traveling with Freddie!”
“Howe it’s a little girl?”
“Oops, this little girl is so adorable.”
“How lucky she is.”
“Gosh, she’s so cute.”
Everyone was immersed in the little girl’s cuteness, but Hayden’s expression changed. Holding the
hemline of her dress, she rushed onto the stage. “Ste, don’t make a fuss. Come down quickly!”
Ste buried herself in Freddie’s arms.
“No way! I won the lottery. I’m going traveling with Freddie.”
There was another burst of kindughter from the crowd off the stage.
“Stop talking nonsense.”
Hayden frowned, grabbed the microphone in her hands.
“I’m sorry, everyone. She’s my daughter. We have a rule that the hotel staff can’t participate in this
lucky draw. It doesn’t count this time. Let’s wait for Freddie to pick up another number.”
“No way!” Ste curled her lips, unhappiness written on her face. “I’m not a hotel staff member.
Mommy, you’ve gone too far!”
There was amotion off the stage. Everyone was discussing.
Suddenly, someone said in a loud voice, “The little girl was right -- she’s not the hotel staff. Just let her
go. It’s such a great chance.”
“Yeah,” others echoed.
In front of the cute little girl, the fans who alwayspeted for their love for their idols became quite
modest. They all agreed to let Ste get the award.
Hayden exined in embarrassment, “Thank you all for your kindness, but a rule is a rule. Besides, I
can’t let her go traveling with Freddie alone. Please forget it.”
“It’s not a big deal. You can go with them together.”
A chubby girl waved her hand and smiled heartily. “If a mother took her daughter to travel with Freddie,
we would feel more relieved, wouldn’t we?”
In those girls’ opinions, Hayden was pretty safe. Compared with a fan-girl with evil intentions would
travel with Freddie, they’d rather let a passer-by go with him. Besides, this passer-by had a daughter,
so it would greatly reduce the risk that their idol would be unavable after returning from the trip.
Upon hearing that, Hayden didn’t know whether tough or cry. Who could have expected such an
ident to happen at the end of the ceremony?
In the lounge of the hotel, Ste came back with a big smile on her face, holding a big bag of snacks
from Freddie’s fans.
“Noah, look at me. I got a lot of tasty snacks from those youngdies.”
Noah sat on the sofa and stared at her in anger as if he was staring at a traitor.
Ste quickly realized something. She sat next to him. “Noah, I didn’t mean to do it. Originally I wanted
to travel with Freddie, but who knows that my mother would follow us. It’s just a mistake. Please don’t
be mad at me.”
Although he heard the exnation, Noah still felt upset. He wrote a line on the new drawing board and
set it into the audio mode.
The mechanical voice sounded, “Do you like him that much? My father is much better looking than him
and he’s quite rich!”
“s, that’s different. Uncle Joseph is indeed handsome, but he suits my Mommy. Freddie is also
handsome and he suits me better. Ha ha...”
Noah waspletely speechless when looking at Ste’s obsessive look. He turned around and
ignored her.
“Noah, what are you doing?”
Ste leaned forward and wanted to see what Noah was doing, but he turned his back to her to avoid
her seeing anything. Quickly, he tabbed on his phone and sent a message out.
On the other side, Joseph had boarded the ne. Before switching off the phone, he received a
message from Noah.
When Noah was taken care of by Hayden, he always ignored Joseph. Hence, Joseph was surprised to
see a message from him, wondering if the sun rose from the west.
“If you still don’te back, Aunt Hayden and Ste will run away with another man.”
Reading the message, Joseph was a bit confused. The next second, he recalled something. Turning to
Magnus next to him, he asked, “Anything happened after we’ve left the hotel ceremony?”
“The hotel ceremony?” Magnus was startled for a moment. Instantly, he pulled out his phone and
checked in the WeChat chat group of thepany. Suddenly his eyes lit up.
“Gosh! Ms. Downey’s daughter got the lottery picked by Freddie, and all his fans agreed that Ms.
Downey and her daughter will go for the five-day trip in the Maldives with Freddie on behalf of them.
What a coincidence!”
Magnus was still amazed, but suddenly he felt the atmosphere around him was a bit low.
He turned around and only to find that Joseph’s face darkened for some reason. Magnus couldn’t help
shivering and swallowed other words at the tip of his tongue.

After the ceremony, Hayden checked the performance report. It seemed that she had achieved the
betting agreement with Joseph. The human resource department reentered her profile, and she
became a full-time regr employee of ST Group. When she finally got the new badge, her heart that
had been on her throat in the past few months finally fell back to her chest.
Hayden went back home directly for packing after the procedure waspleted.
Since she had passed the probation period, Hayden got a one-week vacation. It was also because she
would join the short program “Traveling with an Idol”.
Before setting off, Hayden stroke Noah’s head and asked worriedly, “Noah, are you sure it’s all right for
you to stay home alone? I’d better wait for your daddy toe back and hand you to him before
leaving.”

Noah shook his head solemnly. He raised the drawing board -- “Daddy said he’s arrived at the airport.
Please don’t wait for him, Aunt Hayden. Have a great time with Ste!”
Unexpectedly, Noah didn’t cling to her or refused to let her go, so Hayden was a bit surprised. Since he
had said so and there were the butler and a nanny to look after him, Hayden didn’t say anything else.
She hailed a taxi and took Ste to the airport.
As soon as they got off the car at the airport, two cameramen followed them all the way to the security
check.
Freddie had arrived long ago. He was surrounded by a group of fans who asked for his autograph,
followed by another cameraman.
Seeing Hayden arriving, he hurriedly handed thest autograph to his fans and walked to her with a
smile.
Ste was quite enthusiastic. She yelled “Freddie” and directly threw herself into his arms. The fan-girls
standing aside were touched when seeing such a warm scene. They pulled out their cell phones and
shot photos at them continuously.
“Has the shooting started already?” Hayden was a bit nervous. She didn’t dare to utter a word until she
had seen the cameramen put down the cameras when going through the airport security check.
“Don’t be nervous. Just be who you normally are. You can take those cameramen as the air.”
It was easy to say than done. Being filmed all the way, Hayden felt that she almost couldn’t walk at all.
And there were still another five days waiting ahead!
