Chapter 8: Please Divorce, Mommy
Ste shook her head and said to Hayden, “Mommy, why don’t you divorce daddy?” Hayden was
amused and asked, “Why do you say so?”
“I feel that daddy doesn’t like mommy.” Ste bit her vegetable and slurred, “My friend’s daddy and
mommy are always lovey-dovey, but I could only see my daddy twice a year. And every time daddy
comes back, he’ll only say a few words to mommy. He doesn’t kiss or hug you, what’s most important
is that he doesn’t love me. I don’t want this kind of daddy anymore!”
Hayden felt slightly ufortable. She did not dare to tell her the truth, but she was afraid that she
would notice the fact that all the children in her neighborhood all had their father but her. Therefore she
sought for someone’s help and asked him toe over to their house every year to let Ste know she
had a father. She did not expect her to be that smart and had even thought for her.
Ste then added, “Mommy, you don’t have to think that I’ll be sad after you divorce. Instead of letting
you meeting your husband and me meeting my dad once a year, it’s better that mommy find a new
husband. As long as the new daddy loves me, I could also ept other brother and sister!”
“Silly girl.” Her words made the rims of Hayden’s eyes went a little red. “Mommy doesn’t need any
husband; mommy only wants to take good care of you.”
“But I want an elder brother.” Ste let out a sweet smile. “I want mommy and daddy love me, and an
elder brother that loves me like a princess!”
Hayden caressed her head and no longer uttered a word. She remembered her eldest son who was
taken away by the butler and she wondered how he was doing at the moment. If she could, she really
hoped she could meet her son some day in the future and maybe give him a hug. Catching a glimpse
of Hayden’s mncholic look, Ste secretly swore to get a gentle and handsome new daddy to make
her mom happy every day.
That night, Hayden received an email from the Human Resource Department of the ST Group,
notifying her to go to the ST Hotel to work next Monday. As she arranged her stuff, she saw Ste
fiddling with a tablet and could not help but approach her. “Honey, what are you doing?” Ste hugged
the tablet in her arms with lightning speed and said, “I can’t let mommy see this, mommy please go
away!”
“Alright, mommy won’t see it.”
After waiting for Hayden to leave, Ste then continued typing the information on the tablet. She typed
in Hayden’s name and attached her photo. The bottom right corner of the webpage showed the name
of a certain blind date website. Afterpleting everything, Ste stretched herself. The gentlemen
she saw today were all okay, but she still liked the one she met at the airport very much! She had
thought that he should certainly be with mommy at first sight! Unfortunately she could not find any
information about him and she could only rece him with other man at the moment.
Hayden had no idea that she had been ‘sold’ by her clever daughter.

The day Hayden went to work at the hotel was coincidentally the day of the hotel reaching 10th
anniversary. After a brief introduction to the workers, Hayden then started to get really busy due to the
celebration event. She stood at the hall and allocated work to the workers upstairs through a walkie-
talkie, ayer of sweat was seen on her forehead.
“Hayden?” A familiar voice made her froze. She gradually tightened her grasp towards the front desk.
Could it be such coincidence? She turned around and encountered a young couple. The man was tall
and handsome. Seeing her turning around, a startled look clearly shed across his face, while the
woman was holding his arm tightly. Both of them looked exceptionally intimate with one another.
Seeing her ex-boyfriend again five yearster, it was impossible to say that she did not feel sad at all.
Her heart ached greatly. She clenched her fists tightly to try to suppress her feeling and smile. “Long
time no see.”

Kingsley West looked at her with a mixed expression. He moved his lips, wanting to say something, but
did not say anything in the end.
