Unknown force of temptation

    An abyss. An endless void.

Within it stood two beings. One, a figure of pure darkness, radiating malice. The other, his opposite, a man bathed in light, his very presence gleaming like a star against the void.

The man of light smiled, a genuine expression, yet there was something knowing behind it.

"You… I didn''t expect you to break through and come all the way here. And you destroyed everything along the way, huh?"

The darkness said nothing at first, only staring, his form shifting with fury. Rage burned in his gaze as he took a step forward, his voice like a storm rolling through the void.

"Are you so jealous that you would interfere your imperfect creations into my universe...? Or is it out of fear?" Said the darkness within a mocking voice.

The man of light chuckled. "Fear of what...? A feeble justification, much like yourself?" His(?) grin widened.

The darkness seethed. His rage swelled, a silent force that made the abyss tremble. The void cracked, as if reality itself recoiled at his growing wrath.

Without another word, he shifted into a stance—ready to strike.

The air grew heavy. The endless void began to crumble around them.

    Dash.

The man of light, still smiling, moved as well. His radiant form blurred as he surged forward.

    Dash.

And in an instant, light and darkness clashed.

In the beginning, there was balance. Adam and Eve, the first of humanity, stood as equals beneath the boughs of Eden. But the fruit of the forbidden tree glowed with an unnatural light, whispering promises only she could hear. It was not hunger that drove her hand, nor mere curiosity—it was something else. Something unseen.

A voice, woven into the rustling leaves, spoke to her. It did not command her to eat, nor did it deceive her with lies. It merely offered. A gift, a path, a power beyond mortal comprehension. She did not understand the voice, nor where it came from, but in that moment, she did not resist.

Eve reached out. She bit into the fruit, and the moment the juice touched her tongue, the voice faded. What remained was something far greater. Her body convulsed as raw energy coursed through her, reshaping her very essence. Her heart, once a simple vessel of flesh and blood, crystallized into something more—a diamond-like core, pulsing with the power of Eden itself.

But she was not the only one who had heard the voice. Adam had felt it, too. The same offer, the same temptation. Yet when the time came, he hesitated. He turned away. And in that moment, the path of humanity was split forever.

Both were cast down to the earth, but not as equals. Eve''s children carried her power, their hearts adorned with crystals as unique as the abilities they wielded. There were hearts like molten gold, granting dominion over fire; sapphires that ebbed and flowed with the tides of the sea; onyx cores that consumed the light and bent shadows to their will. No two were the same, for no two wielders of power were alike.

But Adam''s children inherited nothing. Their hearts remained flesh, fragile and weak. They were left as they had always been—ordinary, powerless.

Time passed, and the world fractured beneath this divide. Cities of the powerful rose into the sky, their spires gleaming with ethereal light, while the
