The giri blocked the doorway, giving Cecilia a scornful look with her chin raised slightly.
“You’re not a student of the music department. You are not allowed to enter!”
After saying that, she immediatelyined to Howard, “Mr. Lewis, this woman isn’t from the music
department, but she has a student card. She must have stolen it!”
Another girl chimed in, saying, “Mr. Lewis, she must have other intentions foring to the recording
studioplex. Maybe she’s here to steal others‘ songs!”
Although Howard didn’t know all the students, he was in charge of academic affairs.
He remembered students who did well in their studies or looked good.
After making sure that he hadn’t seen Cecilia before, he believed what the two girls said.
He worried that Christopher could misunderstand thex management of the music department, so he
stared at Cecilia with a very unkind look and spoke to her sternly.
“Who are you? What are you doing in the recording studioplex of the music department?”
Cecilia waved the student card in her hand. “I’m from the music department. Naturally, I came to the
recording studioplex to record a song.”
Seeing her calm face, Howard suspected that he might have made a mistake.
To avoid embarrassing himself in front of Christopher, he softened his attitude and reached out his
hand to Cecilia.
