“Kira! Come to me!”
“I can’t! This mist is trapping me—I can’t control my power anymore!”
“Then I’ll come to you…”
“DON’T!! It’ll destroy anything that tries to enter!”
“Then how do we stop the Beasts and spectral warriors!?”
“The book—just destroy the book! But this damned mist keeps holding me back!”
Kira’s words rang true. Scattered around were the corpses of unlucky black birds that had tried to cross the mist, alongside Androids tasked with building the tower. Snow stood unsure, when suddenly feathers shot toward her, forcing her to retreat. Branwen circled the tower’s peak, a 6EEKERS tangled in its claws. The white raven opened its mouth, firing a beam downward. Snow ducked behind her greatsword as a shield, huddling defensively.
“SNOW!! BE CAREFUL!!”
Thorny roots surged from the tower’s side, aiming for Snow. She rolled away—Kira’s warning had saved her. Sleeping Beauty climbed up with its roots, while Snow felt the tremor of approaching spectral warriors.
“Cindy… Lune… Muse… everyone’s…” Snow’s voice trembled.
Ifrit closed in from the city’s edge, its whirlwind sweeping everything in its path. It roared, swiping a clawed hand at Snow’s head as Branwen’s feathers and Sleeping Beauty’s roots struck. Snow struggled to defend, BR1SC0E crumbling under the onslaught.

“…Snow…” Kira sobbed silently, desperate to shield her, but the black mist anchored her in place. Helpless, she watched as dark clouds regathered above. Kulshedra emerged, its heads spewing fire at Snow, who stood frozen, awaiting death.
“IT’S NOT OVER YET!!”
A golden dome enveloped Snow, expanding to repel the attacks. Mordred stood before her, bloodied and slashed, his pale face signaling his end.
“Mordred…” Snow leaned on her sword, struggling to stand.
“Snow, for some to move forward, others must stay behind,” Mordred smiled. “You’re brave—knocked down countless times, yet you always rise. We admire that. Keep going—don’t look back.”
As the dome faded, Mordred collapsed. Bedivere stood afar, eyes closed, bowing in respect. The warriors’ footsteps neared—then halted. The Beasts retreated, yielding to Bedivere, who approached Snow. The Round Table Knight raised his sword for the killing blow. Kira sank, covering her face, unable to face reality. It seemed over.
Or so Kira thought.
“BR1SC0E: CHRONOMANCER!!”
A strange shield blocked Bedivere’s sword, gears whirring within. BR1SC0E shattered, its fragments forming a massive pink halo around the tower’s peak. Nano-particles froze everything in range, as if time itself paused. A clock face appeared in the halo, its hands ticking toward the final moment.
Three.
Snow snatched Bedivere’s sword, sprinting forward without looking back.
Two.
She breached the stilled black mist, which tore at her, shredding her body.
One.
Snow gazed at Kira, cowering with covered face. Her silver eyes gleamed in the dark. Smiling, Snow drove the sword through the book.
Zero.
The halo dissolved, time resuming. The mist flared briefly, swallowing everything nearby before retracting into the book. One last time, the book opened, unleashing a black fire ring that engulfed Neo Babylon, annihilating all—screaming Beasts, fleeing warriors, and the few surviving humans. In an instant, everything crumbled. Kira cradled Snow, tears unending.
The moment Babel’s tower fell was Snow’s last.
