Introduction: What was the fate of Morgan Yu, is he still alive? Did he succeed in saving humanity?Did he remain human in the process?This story is my MAIN focus for writing as of now, although it will have a fairly limited reach compared to most stories on this site, and it is still a hobby, rather than a serious project. The story itself is, conceptually, simple. It follows the memories and current state of Morgan Yu, from the video game Prey (2017). It goes from the very beginning of the game, all the way to the end, and I am directly guiding it with an active Nightmare difficulty run of the game I am doing in the real world. As such, it will follow the games story fairly closely, but this story will be followed by a second novel after this, where I will go over the post-game events on Earth. That is where the REAL story will be, and where my writing will heavily slow down. It's far easier to play a game in short segments, and then novelize what you did, than it is to come up with something new entirely unsupported, after all.Minor note: a lot of the games events, especially early on, are either somewhat wrong, inconsistent, or flat out missing. Content from "side quests" is fairly minimum. This, in addition to writing errors (particularly with past, present, or future tense grammar), is all on purpose.(PS not my cover art, again.
