    The doctor pulled down his mask and continued, “Mr. Ramirez is still in danger. The wound on his arm


    is too deep, and the constant tugging has caused nerve damage. Besides, he’s lost too much blood,


    so… it’s a real pickle right now.”


    Letitia knew that if he hadn’t pulled the knife out of his arm then, the injury wouldn’t have been this bad.


    “So what do we do? How can we fix him up?”


    “We doctors are gonna huddle up and hash out a treatment n,” the doctor said. “For now, Mr.


    Ramirez needs to keep his arm still, no monkeying around.”


    Hawley piped up, “Whatever it takes, keep Elgin’s arm in one piece!”


    Elgin was the big cheese of the Ramirez family and the honcho of the Ramirez Group. If he ended up


    with a bum arm, he’d be theughingstock!


    Elgin was proud as a swagger, how could he stomach being physically impaired….


    The doctor nodded, “We’ll pull out all the stops.”


    The OR doors swung wide open, and the nurse wheeled out the gurney.

    “Stay away from him!” He shouted.


    With an oxygen mask on and hooked up to IVs, Elgin was escorted by the nurse, getting further and


    further away, slowly fading from her sight…


    All Letitia could do was watch helplessly.


    Even touching him had be a luxury.


    Hawley was about to dash off to the ward when something struck him, and he turned back to her,


    “Letitia, you’ve seen Elgin. Time for you to hit the road, right?”
