    After hearing her, he cracked a smirk, “No, you wouldn’t.”


    “Yes, I would! Because I hate you!”


    “What do you mean, ‘get pregnant with my child?” Elgin shot back, his voice deepening, “That child

    She still needed to listen in on what Sh and her mother had discussed at the sanatorium!


    She needed to know the content of that conversation! But without the wireless headsets… what was


    she to do?


    Letitia turned back, only to find Elgin still standing there. She confronted him directly. “Did you instruct


    the servants to move my stuff?*


    “Yes.”


    “Where to?”


    The master bedroom,” Elgin replied. “You’ll be sleeping with me from now on.”


    Letitia couldn’t care less about where to sleep, her mind was fixated on her wireless headsets!


    She hurried to the master bedroom.


    It had been a while since she’d been to the second floor, and she noticed it had been redecorated. New


    carpets, new curtains…Stepping into the master bedroom, she spotted even more changes.


    Gone were the masculine ck, white, and graynes, reced by touches of femininity. The walk-in


    closet was filled with brand-new women’s clothing in her size.

    Letitia’s eyes widened. “Thrown away?


    Just some old stuff. I had the butler get new ones, Elgin said, “You’ll like them.”


    Like hell!


    He actually threw them away! No wonder she couldn’t find her wireless headsets!


    Letitia was boiling inside but could only re at him “Please, in the future, don’t mess with my stuff


    without asking!”


    “Those trinkets of yours, what’s there to fuss about?


    In Elgin’s eyes, everything Letitia wore and used was too cheap andcked quality.


    He wanted to give her expensive, high quality things But once again, she was ungrateful!
