    Elgin knew Hawley’s little game too well. He knew that Letitia had no backings, and she could be a tool


    for passing on the family name, nothing more.


    Letitia was taken aback and asked, “Did you agree?”


    “What a joke,” Elgin snorted. “You’re not worthy of bearing my children.”


    She breathed a sigh of relief. She was already pregnant, how could she possibly get pregnant again?
