Chapter 21 : My First Love -- II
After talking about pete and others for a while, we were working together to set up the ce for fire
camp. Then we both settled in a ce afterpleting the work, i find Disha always doing some funny
mischief things.. She was doing something in zacky''s tent, i went near her and asked, " what are you

Afterpleting the mission, we went back to theke,
Four years back,
Me and charles were walking to theke, on the way we were making fun of zacky, after reaching the
started to clean my camera lenses, then charles came to me and said, " hey Disha, are you free now"...
I smiled and nodded, he was standing there without saying anything but i can see that he has
something on his mind so i asked him, " do you want to say something, Charles"...

He walked away from me, then he again came back and asked me, "why do you love photography this
much"... I turned toward him and said, "This is what you wanted to know"... He looked at me with firm
look and said, "if you dont want to tell me, fine i can understand". ... I asked him to sit next to me and
said, " you know you can ask me anything right not only zacky you people are my friends too" ... He sat
next to me to hear about my past...i started to tell him the person who gave me this passion.
Disha : After my parents passed away i came to live with my grandparents, i felt so lonely, hated
everything and everyone around me... So oneday my granddad took me to thiske, we traveled for
hours to reach that ce, i dont know why he took me there, with confused look i asked him, "what you
gonna do here". He knelt down and said, " not me, its you who gonna do something here".
16 years back,
Lil Disha : Me!! Why!! What!?.
Granddad : Tell me what can you see in this ce ( showing the near meadow).
Lil Disha : Grass!? Some insects!? . Really. Dont tell me you took me here to show these grasses.
Granddad : Ha ha ha... You are just like your Father. ( Taking out his camera). Wait!!
Took some pictures of the grasses,
Now tell me what you see?? ( showing the pictures he took).
Back to four years,
Those pictures my granddad showed me that day changed my lifepletely.... Charles asked with
curious look on his face, " what did you see".. I smiled and said, " he showed me ants taking food,
some insects fighting with each other and thest picture he showed was really breathtaking, he
showed me a droplet,, inside that the mirage of sun was captured and a small grasshopper was trying
to drink it" . After showing me those pictures he said, " i took you to this ce because i know your
angry with your parents, i know you are sad since they left you, but my little Disha, whatever you do
please don''t hate them, you said they smiled when they left you, but just like the medows you saw
earlier, you had only seen their smile but deep inside they loved and love you more than you can
imagine ... So please dont carry hatred and forget their love ".
To the present,
Natalie : so you fell in love with her after that.. I mean i fell in love with her granddad after hearing this,,
seriously!! .... I wont be surprised if you did too..
Everyone ring at Natalie..
Charles : ha ha ha!! Not because of that, but because of the words she said after that..
Natalie : what did she say??.
Cassy : Actually she didnt said to us, she asked us.... She asked us back,, when we asked her, " what
was her own reason to love photography".
Pete : I still remember them.. she asked us, "Do you guys know that there is no one in this world who
doesn''t smile when a photo is taken,,,, atleast to act or to show himself or herself happy infront of
others they smile, theyugh....Thats the power of a camera....and i want to use this power to make
people smile".
Natalie : God!!! Now i understood. Why you love her.... (pointing at charles).
