Chapter 1065 Buddha and Tao
Chapter 1063: Buddha and Tao
The top of Shaoshi Mountain is a thousand feet tall and has no place to lean on. Ordinary people cannot get up at all, but Bodhidharma crosses his legs and closes his eyes to recite scriptures. It was not until another monk climbed up that Bodhidharma stopped reciting scriptures, and this person is the leader of Buddhism, Sakyamuni.
Although Bodhidharma stopped reciting scriptures, he ignored Sakyamuni and had not even looked at him directly. Sakyamuni said, "Junior Brother Bodhidharma, my Buddhist family is suffering the biggest disaster in a century. We must work together to get through it."
After hearing this, Bodhidharma finally stopped silent, but said indifferently: "Duobao, you have been too much this time."
Shakyamuni was once the great disciple of Taoist Shangqing Taoist, and Duobao was the Taoist name he was in Taoism. He was changed to Shakyamuni after being in Taoism.
Seeing that Bodhidharma did not call his Buddha''s name, he directly called out his former Taoist name, and he felt a little angry. However, he now asked for help, so he did not show it.
"I didn''t expect that Qin Hao would be so contradictory. He looked broad-minded on the surface, but in fact he was vengeful and ungrateful."
A trace of bitterness flashed in Sakyamuni''s eyes and he smiled bitterly: "I thought Qin Hao would not care about this incident with my Buddhist for the sake of your junior brother and Pujing.
Besides, the rescue of Li Shimin this time was also a personal move by my disciple Xuanzang. No matter what, it is not considered to be my Buddhist.
But I didn''t expect that Qin Hao would react so much and he directly made the move to destroy Buddhism. ”
The Dongtu School is almost exclusive, and it is naturally extremely difficult for Buddhism to grow to this extent under this premise, and there were two major decisive battles between Buddhism and Taoism.
A hundred years ago, Buddha Rahu from India came to Dongtu to preach, but was boycotted by all schools of Dongtu.
That was the most intense period of conflict between Buddhism and Taoism. Buddhism was even called the "Demon Sect" by people in the Central Plains, and Buddha Luohu was even insulted as the "Demon Ancestor".
As the contradiction could not be reconciled, Dao Zu Hongjun finally took action and fought against Luohu at the southwest border.
In that battle, Taoist ancestor Hongjun won, but although he killed Buddha Luohu, he was also seriously injured and fell in less than ten years, and Taoism also fell into the hands of the Three Qings.
Fifty years ago, the birthplace of Buddhism and Taoism, two Buddhas, Cunti and Guiyin, were born.
Cundi and Guiyin, who inherited Luohu''s will, still chose to bring a group of disciples to Dongtu to preach Buddhism, but were still boycotted by all schools of Dongtu.
This time, Taoism directly dispatched Taoists from the Three Qing Dynasties, while Confucianism sent two great scholars, Wang Xu and Xunqiu. The five of them joined forces to siege and kill Zhunti and guide the two Buddhas.
The two Buddhist Buddhas were twice as old as the five, and their realm was above the five, but they were still outnumbered. In the end, Cundi was killed by Taiqing and Guiguzi, while Jie Yin fled back to India in a panic and made a vow to never step into the Central Plains for life.
After these two wars, Buddhism''s strength has been greatly reduced, and Taoism and Confucianism have also relaxed restrictions on Buddhism, so Buddhism can finally survive in the East.
Buddhism developed for more than 50 years before it had its current foundation in the Han Dynasty, so all Buddhist senior officials cherished this hard-won achievement.
As the leader of Buddhism, Shakyamuni was no exception. However, he did not expect that his careless action would bring a catastrophe to Buddhism, and his achievements were ruined for decades.
Sakyamuni regrets it now. If I had known it, I would have not been involved in Taoist affairs. It’s a pity that it’s too late to say anything now.
However, for today''s Buddhists, the most important thing is to ask Qin Hao to stop destroying Buddhism. Bodhidharma, who has had kindness to Qin Hao, is naturally the best candidate to plead for mercy, so Sakyamuni came to Shaolin in person to seek Bodhidharma. After hearing the words of Sakyamuni, Bodhidharma said coldly: "If you don''t take action, it is naturally Xuanzang''s personal move to rescue Li Shimin, but if you, the leader of Buddhism, take action, Qin Hao will naturally think that this is a provocation from my Buddhism, and of course it is impossible to let me go."
Of course, Shakyamuni knew this, and he never thought of taking action himself. After all, if he took action, the nature would be completely different.
But Sakyamuni could not look at Xuanzang, and was killed by Dugu Qiu in front of him. He couldn''t help but help Xuanzang, but in the end he brought such a great disaster to Buddhism.
"I have no longer had the shame to bring about such a great disaster to Buddhism. I am willing to take the initiative to take the lead in the leadership of Buddhism, but even so, it will be difficult to calm Qin Hao''s anger."
Sakyamuni knelt down with his knees and said with a sad look: "Junior Brother Bodhidharma, it''s my fault for all the mistakes. Those Buddhist disciples who were slaughtered by the Qin army are all innocent. Please ask Junior Brother Bodhidharma to save them."
Seeing this, Bodhidharma couldn''t help but sigh, then helped Sakyamuni up and said in a deep voice: "Senior Brother Sakyamuni, Bodhidharma will go to persuade the Qin Hou, but not for you, but for the Buddhist disciples in the world."
“Thank you!”

Luoyang, in front of Qinhou Mansion, a monk sat cross-legged at the door, and a large group of people surrounded him and pointed at him, but the monk didn''t care at all.
Jiang Jiong, the commander of the Nine Dragon Guard, looked at the monk blocking the gate of the Marquis''s mansion with a serious look on his face, and said in a deep voice: "Master Bodhidharma, I really didn''t lie to you. The lord is really not in Luoyang."
Bodhidharma thought Qin Hao was deliberately avoiding him, and sighed and said lightly: "The Marquis did not see the poor monk for a day, and I was guarding this place for one day, and I was guarding this year, and I was guarding this year."
Seeing that Bodhidharma did not listen to the advice, Jiang Jiong felt helpless, but he could not force the person to be bombed away. First of all, the other party was a master of the grandmaster level, and with his strength, he could not defeat him at all. Secondly, Bodhidharma was also the lord''s benefactor, and he could not bombard the person away from his feelings or reason.
"Mrs. I''m back home, and the idle person retreats."
At this moment, a large group of female soldiers came with several carriages, but the one in the lead immediately got off a beautiful woman.
The beauty held a baby in her left hand and a child in her right hand. Her appearance seemed to change the color of the world, which immediately caused a shock in the crowd.
"That''s a princess, a princess in ten thousand years."
"Your Highness the Princess has returned to Luoyang, and your Highness the Princess has returned to Luoyang."
Liu Mu is still quite popular in Luoyang. Soon some people recognized her identity and took the initiative to bow to her.
"See Your Highness the Princess."
The little boy holding Liu Mu''s hand then raised his head and smiled at Liu Mu, "Sister, it seems that the people of Luoyang have not forgotten you."
Of course, there is only one boy who can call Liu Mu the emperor''s sister, he is Liu Xie, the current Han Emperor.
