Chapter 434

    Chapter 434

Ronan arrived at the dorm to pick up his tickets for the basketball game. The moment he stepped into

the dormitory, the atmosphere shifted like a boss had just walked in. Joseph, who was previously

engrossed in his video game, couldn''t help but rise from his seat, overpowered by Ronan''s presence.

"Hello, you are looking for Harold?"

"Yes, I''m here for the tickets."

Joseph, eager to please, picked up the tickets from Harold''s desk and handed them to Ronan with an

    air of respect.

    "Here you go, from Harold."

Ronan nced at the tickets. "Alright, thanks."

Joseph, being his usual clumsy self, managed to knock a piece of paper off Harold''s desk in the

process. The paper, now sporting a torn corner, nded right in front of Callum.

"Dad, look at this," Callum handed the torn paper to his father.

    "What is it?"

"The hair drawn on this piece looks just like the one in that old painting we have at home."

Ronan patted Callum''s head. "Let''s go."

As he turned to leave, an unsettling thought crossed his mind. Was the kid so deeply infatuated that he

was drawing portraits of the same woman everywhere?

Ronan led his son out of the room, leaving a visibly relieved Joseph behind, who wondered where

Harold had managed to befriend such an influential figure.

After grabbing a bite to eat, Ronan took his son to the basketball arena early. While Callum was

excitedly running around, Ronan, having outgrown that age, was busy responding to messages from

    his associates at Millstone.

Cordelia, on the other hand, was not as passionate about basketball.

She was more focused on having a clear conversation with Harold after the game. On her way back

from the cafeteria at noon, she ran into Petra, who handed her two tickets.

    "What are these?" Cordelia asked.

"Don''t y dumb. These are tickets for Harold''s basketball game. One of my students gave me a few,

but I''m past the age of watching games, you go."

With that, Petra walked away. It seemed like everyone had already paired Cordelia with Harold,

knowing he was ying and offering to give her tickets ordingly.

Cordelia figured it would be a waste of the hard-toe-by tickets if she didn''t go. And Petra had given

her two. So, she sent a message to Sally and Sean. [Are you guys going to the basketball game?]

Cordelia, Sally, and Sean were part of a small group called "The Trust Trio" because of their shared

interest in trustw. Cordelia often assigned tasks within the group.

Sally replied. [Do you have tickets?]

Sean said. [I''m busy this afternoon. Can''t make it.]

Cordelia tagged Sally. [Well, the ticket shouldn''t go to waste, I''ll go. See you at the court this afternoon.]

In the afternoon, Cordelia made a quick stop at the library before heading to the sports hall. On her

way, she bumped into a familiar face.

She wouldn''t have recognized her if she hadn''t looked closely - it was Sienna.

Sienna looked different from her old self, radiating newfound wealth. "Cordelia?" Sienna, sporting a

Hermes handbag and outfitted in expensive attire, looked genuinely surprised. "I never expected to see

    you here."

"Aunt Sienna?" Cordelia echoed in surprise, "What are you doing here?"

"Oh, you know Samantha is filming here, right? I''m her agent now."

"She''s here?" The thought of na getting close to her again immediately made Cordelia uneasy.

"Oh, Cordelia, you''ve finished your PhD, haven''t you?" Sienna looked past Cordelia and spotted

    Harold.
