    Chapter 420

Callum''s call had left Cordelia lost in thought for quite a while.

    N?velDrama.Org holds ? this.

After polishing her presentation script and reviewing her lesson ns - tomorrow was going to be a

hectic day, as the academic office had scheduled all her weekly sses on Wednesday - she finally

went to bed well past eleven.

The next day, Cordelia headed to Unity Hall for her sses. Along the way, she noticed that her fellow

students were ncing at her more than usual.

Cordelia was perplexed. Was there something wrong with her outfit, or was her makeup inappropriate?

She bumped into Petra, who was also on her way to ss. "Off to teach, Petra?" She asked Petra.

Petra grinned smugly. "Yes, indeed, Ms. Haselwood, the porcin doll."

"What?" Cordelia was even more confused now.

"Why don''t you go see for yourself?" Petra suggested before striding away.

Cordelia hurried into her ssroom, still mystified. "Let''s start the ss," she announced to her

students, who were all suppressing smiles as though they were anticipating some sort of spectacle.

The only person she saw sitting in the third row was Harold, who was lounging in his seat, his arms

folded across his chest, staring at Cordelia with a provocative gaze.

Maybe if she could go back seven or eight years, she wouldn''t have given Logan, who faded in

"Is...is my teaching inadequate?" Cordelia, still a novice teacher, was somewhat insecure. The students

had all moved to the back of the room as soon as the ss began. Could she really represent the

young teachers with this level of teaching?

She looked at the students in bewilderment.

Harold, nonchntly resting one leg over the other, nced around the room. "No worries, you''re doing

    fine. Carry on."

Laughter broke out among the students.

Cordelia frowned slightly. Harold''sment was not very student-like, even if it was meant to be

supportive. She felt awkward and just muttered, "Let''s continue with the ss."

After ss, Cordelia finally understood why the students had behaved so oddly towards her. As she

was packing her books, her graduate student Sally waved her phone in front of her.

"What is this?" Cordelia asked, puzzled. It seemed to be a picture on the phone.

"The picture is called ‘Porcin.’ It was disyed in the cafeteria window since this morning," Sally

whispered in Cordelia''s ear. "The artist never had a rtionship before."

Cordelia was still confused, but since Sally mentioned "the window," Cordelia had to go check it out.

The closest disy window to the ssroom was downstairs. Cordelia strode over to it.

There, in the window, was a watercolor painting of a woman striding across campus, her skirt billowing

behind her due to the wind. The woman''s braid hung in front of her chest. She seemed nonchnt, but

it was clear that she was preupied.

The painting was named "Porcin." It probably referred to the woman''s porcin-like skin.

She finally understood why Petra had looked so entertained earlier. It was as if she was enjoying a love

    story. But nothing happened.

Cordelia wondered who the artist was. From the perspective, it seemed like it was painted from a high

ce, and it was a depiction of her from the night before.

She suspected that Harold was the artist. Cordelia had always thought that students having a crush on

their teacher was a prank, something not to be taken seriously. She didn''t think much of it.

She didn''t know how Harold managed to get the painting into the disy window, and she didn''t know

how to remove it. But the painting was beautiful, so it could stay in the window.
