    The following morning, Ronan got up early and left. Janice had packed a lunch for Cordelia to take with


    her in the afternoon.


    "Why not make it for both of us in the future, just one more serving," Cordelia suggested to Janice.


    "Sure," Janice agreed, pleased to see Cordelia in a better mood.

    At three in the afternoon, Cordelia decided to take a break. She hadn''t moved from her desk all day


    and was feeling a bit ufortable. She didn''t stray far, heading to the yoga studio to stretch her

    Just as she was about to change into her yoga outfit, Kitty spoke up, "Cordelia, I got you a new set.

    With that, Kitty presented a loose-fitting yoga outfit. Though it was stylish and chic, it was also very


    conservative, covering her from head to toe. Moreover, it was so loose that it would undoubtedly hinder

    Though Cordelia didn''t say anything, she was displeased. Ronan''s possessiveness was manifesting

    "I won''t be practicing today," Cordelia dered, her mood spoiled. She returned to the Audit


    Department to continue her work.


    Ronan''s overbearing nature had sparked her rebellious streak. As she realized her cup was empty,


    Cordelia decided to order some soda. The minimum order was for two cups, so she ordered two.


    She had always loved soda but after learning that it wasn''t healthy for her unborn child, she had


    controlled her cravings. But now, she wanted to let go.


    Just like she had intentionally fallen asleep in the conference room to upset him, she was now going to


    drink soda in front of him. Most importantly, she was going to use this to test him, to see if he knew he’s


    the father of the kids.


    The delivery couldn''t be made to her floor, so she was called downstairs to collect it.


    "Mrs. Evans, you''re pregnant. You shouldn''t be drinking soda," the receptionist warned her.


    "It''s fine," Cordelia replied defiantly.


    Back in the Audit Department, she handed one of the cups to Mna.


    "I''m too old for this stuff, not like you young girls. Cordelia, you shouldn''t be drinking this either. The


    baby''s health is important," Mna advised.


    "I''ll just have a little bit," Cordelia pinched her fingers, indicating that it was indeed "just a little bit."


    "Be careful, Mr. Evans might not be happy and may give you a hard time," Mna whispered to


    Cordelia.


    Cordelia was unperturbed. She wanted to test him, to see if he would indeed give her a hard time.


    She had only a couple of sips, just enough to satiate her craving.


    With a cup and a half of soda left, she decided to take it to the car and let him see.
