    ——How are things going there? Did the two of you get into an argument again?


    It wasn''t too long before she finally received a reply from her. However, Violet simply sent her a picture


    without saying anything else.


    Feeling a bit confused, Ca tried to zoom in a little and realized that it was a photo of a hotel room.


    Judging from the interior decoration and the furniture in it, it wasn''t that difficult to guess that they were


    probably in one of the luxury hotels in JA City.


    ''Hmm... Wait a second! What''s that?''


    She zoomed it in a bit more and carefully examined a certain part of the picture. After a while, she


    suddenly let out an audible chuckle.


    Why was there half a leg visible in the corner of this picture…? But more importantly, why did it look like


    it belonged to a man?


    ''The corner is most certainly a part of the bathroom. And the foot wearing a slipper is… It looks so


    familiar… Oh, I know now! That''s William''s leg! What?! So, does that mean…?''


    ——I can''t believe it! You actually went and doggone slept with him! Violet, how could you give in just


    like that?


    After a little while, Violet sent her another reply.


    ——Do you seriously think that I''m such an easy and wild girl? He was so insistent on taking my son


    and I to stay at another hotel. But what''s more, he wouldn''t take no for an answer and even said he


    wouldn''t leave until he was done bathing Cody! What am I supposed to do?


    When she heard those words, Ca collected her thoughts and told her what she had in mind.


    ——I honestly don''t see anything wrong with it. It''s a role he has to fulfil. You have been taking care of


    your son all by your lonesome for the past four years. Don''t you think it''s about time that he did


    something to make up for it? Trust me, you don''t have to put up resistance. Just let him do what he


    wants so he could make it up to your son. That should be enough.

    Although Ca might have been trying tofort her through the words she said, she actually


    understood well, how painful this situation was for Violet. William abandoned her when she was just


    three months pregnant with his son. It wasn''t until four years after she had given birth to her son that he


    showed up again.


    Now that he seemed to be so eager to fall back into her life, Ca was hoping that Violet could


    somehow find it in herself to put the past behind her and start over anew. That being said, things didn''t


    go as she pictured out they would, as Violet still hated his guts so much.


    Most probably, hatred was the thing that would never be erased in the entire world.


    However, the existence of that hatred was actually bringing her torment as well.


    "You look so bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. What are you looking at on the phone?"


    When Terence was also done washing up, he stumbled upon Ca, who had a big smile on her face as


    she stared at her phone.


    "William has just taken Violet and her son out of the previous hotel they were staying in and got them


    somece better. Even though they might not actually be living together yet, this could be considered


    as a huge step to decrease the distance between the two of them,"


    Ca exined the situation to Terence. Then, she put the mobile phone down, grabbed a pillow and


    "One has gone unmarried to another man even after four years, and one is also unmarried to another


    woman. But above all else, they have a son of their own that''s connecting the two of them. I''m sure it''s


    only gonna be a matter of time before they finally get back together!"

    Just a couple of minutes after she put down her phone, Ca got another notificationing from


    Violet. Ca opened it right away and saw a video.


    Watching the video, Ca burst into a fit ofughter as showed it to Terence, "Take a look at this. Sally,


    the little devil, turned Cody into her very own ything."


    In the video recording, Cody looked so helpless because of Sally''s prank, which was rather hrious.


    Terence took the phone from her hand and carefully watched the video footage. The second he heard


    Sally ming everything on her dad, he curled his lips and had his eyebrows deeply knit, "That


    mischievous girl, I''m starting to think that her only talent is putting the me on me.


    Hearing that, Ca grabbed her phone back and said, "I should probably download and save it. Back in


    the BT Vige before, I actually wanted to take picture of Sally. Sad to say, but there really was nothing


    that was worth keeping in there..."


    Ca stated as she saved all of the other photos she had taken of Sally in the past few days. When


    Sally came into this world, Ca desperately wanted to take photos of her. Unfortunately, she didn''t


    have the means to do that at the time.


    But now that she was back, she wouldn''t have to worry about those things anymore.


    "I will have them developed and put in the album one of these days. So, when Sally gets older, she can


    look back on these events by looking at those photos."


    "Ca, the years you spent in the mountains was quite tough for you, isn''t that right?"


    Actually, Ca was the one who mentioned it by ident. After all, those four long years had be


    quite an unforgettable part of her life.


    But Terence viewed it differently, whenever he heard the name of the BT Vige, thoughts of all of the


    pain and hardships that Ca had gone through kept on ying in his head.

    She recalled the inner struggle she had back then. Time passing by so quickly, simply increased her


    fears and tormented her deep inside. Truth be told, she was lying when she said that things were


    actually going well and that she was still fine.


    "Down the line, I started worrying that, if I wouldn''t be able to get out of this ce until the day I die,


    then what was the point of giving birth to her?"


    Ca whispered under her breath, reflexively raising her head to shoot him a nce.
