    "I''ve already sent Miss Sally''s hair and yours for the test. We''ll get the results soon enough."


    Rainer responded while he followed Terence outside.


    Actually, it shouldn''t have been necessary to have a DNA test. If Terence hadn''t lost his memory, he


    would not ask for the test at all. The test was just to double-check if Ca was telling the truth.


    Back in the ward, Ca took out the toy that she bought for her daughter. Her poor Sally had spent

    "I have no idea." Ca responded and sighed heavily. When she saw how disappointed Sally looked,


    Ca brushed Sally''s soft hair with her fingers. She thenforted her daughter, "But don''t worry my


    child. Your Mom will fight. I won''t stop ''till we have your father back."


    Ca knew that her dedication to that purpose was not only for Sally. It was also for herself.


    Indeed, love was selfish.


    Terence belonged to her and she wouldn''t give him away to any other woman, just like that. She will


    fight for him. She will fight for the love that they once had. She will fight for the family that they should


    have been building.


    Therefore, there was no way she would stand aside and watch her Terence be with another woman.


    She couldn''t just admit defeat and cry in a corner.


    "Really, Mom?"


    As soon as Sally heard what her Mom had said, her sullen eyes were suddenly filled with hope. Soon


    enough, her eyes were so bright with happiness that it looked like they were shining.

    Ca lightly tapped on Sally''s little nose and put on a big smile.


    Terence and Ca were husband and wife. Hence, Ca was not the third party in this mess. And she

    When night fell, Ca took out a storybook. Then, she read it to Sally who was still awake in her arms.


    Soon enough, Ca had read story after story but Sally just wouldn''t fall asleep.


    "Sally, I''ve already read you four stories. Why are you still awake? Don''t you feel sleepy yet?"


    Sally was actually drowsy by then but she just wouldn''t close her sleepy eyes. Then, she exined,


    "Mom, I don''t feel like sleeping yet. I want to wait for Dad..."


    Ca turned to look at the clock, only to find out that it was already past nine. Perhaps, Terence


    wouldn''t visit tonight since it was already sote.


    "Sally, your Dad is busy. Let''s go to bed, okay?" With a resounding sigh, Ca tried to convince her


    daughter to sleep. It wasn''t really good for her to stay upte since she was still quite sick.


    "No! Mom, do you have Dad''s number? Let''s give him a call, please?" Sally begged Ca with a pout


    on her face. Then, she sat up and held onto Ca''s arms.


    "Sally..." There was a hint of helplessness in Ca''s voice.


    "Please. Mom, please."


    Sally begged even more. Then, she grabbed Ca''s hand and looked at her with pleading eyes.


    Ca sighed and picked up her phone. Then, she dialed Terence''s number.


    It got through after a few seconds.


    "It''s me," Ca said.


    After a few seconds of silence, Terence asked, "Why do you have my number? Who gave it to you?"


    "I have had it all this time. Sally is still waiting for you. Can youe and visit her right now?"


    Ca asked straight away.


    Then, there was silence again.


    "All right. I''ll be finished in half an hour. Can she wait for me for a little while longer?" Terence was in


    the middle of a business dinner at that moment. Once he was finished with dinner, including the travel


    time to the hospital, it would almost be ten o''clock by then.


    "Fine. Hurry up then."


    After Ca hung up the phone, Sally''s eyes glimmered when she asked, "Is Dading?"


    "Yes, he is. But he''ll arrive a bitter. How about you take a nap first? I''ll wake you up when your Dad


    arrives. You would want to have energy when he arrives right?" Ca held Sally''s shoulders and tucked
