Chapter 421 Be Ready And Wait For Me On The Bed (Part One)


    That night, the only thing that every person in JA City could talk about was Terence''s grand marriage


    proposal to Ca.


    Johnny, who was standing in his yard, red at the chocte on his hand. If looks could kill, the


    chocte would have melted in an instant. He snarled while he crumpled the chocte, ruining the


    wrapper with the letters T and C on it. But it seemed like it wasn''t enough for he threw the ruined


    chocte in the trash can with a thud.


    Contrary to his actions, he thought to himself quietly, ''Naive, such a naive woman and what a stupid


    way to propose!


    How could any woman agree to marry a man who simply showers her with all the grand gestures but


    Still wearing the same annoyed look on his face, he entered the house and turned on the television. To


    his luck, the news happened to be broadcasting the proposal live. The whole screen was filled with


    balloons and flowers. It disgusted him to see Terence''s indifferent and passive face. He thought, ''How


    can this guy not appreciate the treasure that''s in front of him?'' However, when he saw how happy and


    overjoyed Ca looked, he suddenly did not know how to feel.


    It was clear to Johnny that Terence had really captured her heart. For some reason, he felt afraid that


    his spection was right.


    Although he did not want to admit it, he felt a huge disappointment in his heart. He flipped through the


    channels to try and distract himself but his disappointment just deepened when he realized that every


    single channel was broadcasting the proposal or parts of it.


    Johnny sighed deeply in order to calm himself down but it did not work. He''s finally had enough. The


    rage finally got to his head and he threw the remote control at the television. The screen broke into


    pieces as Johnny breathed heavily.


    Meanwhile, in another part of town, apletely different mood was in the air.


    On the second floor of a high-end restaurant, there was a sense of celebration and overwhelming joy.


    Ca was enjoying the beautiful music as she looked down from the French window. Below were so


    many guests who were obviously having a good time. From her view, she could clearly see Theo,


    Nathan, and Rainer smiling so widely.


    Out of the blue, her thoughts were flooded with how their wedding day would actually be like. She


    thought of the guests smiling at them, of the grandeur of the ce filled with flowers, of her white


    wedding dress and needless to say, of the groom.


    "Today may have cost a lot, right? The fireworks, the ship, and the drones you''ve arranged are not


    cheap. Besides, you''ve invited so many guests to this party. It''s such an enormous expense!" Ca


    eximed.


    Terence didn''t respond. Instead, he just clinked his wine ss with hers and shifted his gaze onto the


    people downstairs. A big smile crept onto his lips as he said in a soft tone, "I feel so happy today. This


    is my first andst time to propose, so you could understand how I wanted everything to be perfect. I


    wouldn''t have forgiven any mistake if any detail didn''t go as I wanted it." Then, he paused and turned to


    Ca before he continued, "Ca, as long as it''s for your happiness, money will never be an issue.


    Besides, they all offered to help me, especially Theo."


    While she took in what he had just said, Ca sipped her wine and couldn''t help butugh. She then

    Right at that time, Theo looked up at them, smiled widely, and raised his ss to gesture his


    congrattions to them from the distance.

    while she turned to Terence, who sat opposite her. Then, she slowly said, "Hmm, I suddenly

    Terence was surprised to know that she suddenly thought of that story. He bit his lip then coughed

    surrounded by those strange women when I entered the room. I didn''t have any scious thoughts


    towards them. Instead, I tried my best to keep away from them as best as I could.


    In that kind of circumstance, only people who couldn''t control their urges and desires or ones who

    While she listened to his story, Ca squinted at him suspiciously.


    She continued to ask, "Didn''t you at least have the thought of picking one whom you liked the best from


    the six and share a private room with her?"


    Hearing what she said, Terence stretched out his arm to knock a finger on her head while he helplessly


    said, "What are you getting at? Do you really think I''m that shallow and superficial? I didn''t fall in love


    with you because of things like that, Ca."


    Ca rubbed her eyes gently and realized that he was telling the truth. Superficial men would often


    focus on a woman''s appearance. And if Terence were really that kind of a man, then they wouldn''t have


    met and fallen in love with each other at all.


    What Terence really wanted was amitted monogamous rtionship with someone. A connection


    which ran deeper than just the outer appearance. When it came to love, it was easy for him to stay


    away from anyone, even if they were the most desired and beautiful. Sometimes, he could even be the


    most indifferent and most passive because he wouldn''t even give a nce at anyone whom he didn''t


    like at all.


    However, once he fell in love with someone, he would devote every piece of himself and everything


    that he had for her.


    For Terence, every single part of Ca, from her hair to her toe, was just perfect. He loved her deeply


    and sincerely like a devout believer and Ca was his God and savior.


    "Ca, there was one thing I''d wanted to tell you. The wedding rings will be done in a week. So we


    have to wait for the wedding ceremony to exchange rings."


    Terence exined for he thought that rings were integral to a proposal. But he had no other choice but


    to wait for them to be finished. Wedding rings were sacred and important so he didn''t dare to buy


    substitutes.


    While she chuckled a little, Ca responded, "Hey, why are you being so serious today? We already


    have the marriage certificate. And I didn''t even expect that you would propose to me, much more so


    with that kind of a grand proposal. I''m already so moved with what you''ve done today. It''s more than


    enough."


    Then, she smiled at him and continued, "Besides, you can''t control everything. Even if something didn''t


    go as nned today or if you have regrets, then we can just make our wedding perfect, right?"


    "Well, you are absolutely right. With that, do you remember that I once asked you to make a list of your


    rtives from the Ji family whom you want to invite to the wedding ceremony? Have you already


    finished doing that? I just thought that it would be really nice if they coulde to the ceremony."


    Terence asked while he waved at the server to pour more wine into Ca''s ss.
