Chapter 412 It Was All My Fault

Chapter 412 It Was All My Fault

Ca rubbed her forehead after bumping into Terrence––yes, she knew it was him. His familiar scent

and built were already engraved in her senses.

Because Johnny slightly took off her mask, making it hang on her forehead, its sharp edges poked on

her temples when she collided with Terrence.

"Why did you have to run so fast?" Terence muttered under his breath.

He helped her take off the mask as he gently massaged her forehead.

Ca looked up at him and put her arms around his waist. "I''m sorry. It was my fault," she said.

Behind them was Johnny, who cast a nce at them and was about to leave.

"Johnny, I warned you to stay away from my woman!"

Terrence snarled as he saw how Johnny tried to get away from him.

Johnny stopped in his tracks and turned to look at Terence.

"Terence, you know very well that I love stealing things you value. So prepare yourself for it and don''t

let me get the chance to snatch away your woman.

    Otherwise, I''ll make her mine!"

Johnny mocked with a grin before leaving and strode towards the door.

After a while, Terrence and Ca got in the car and headed home.

Ca nced at Terence when she noticed how he was unusually quiet. She figured he was probably

upset with what Johnny had just said. "Terence, you don''t believe Johnny''s load of crap, do you? That

is absolutely not going to happen!" she reassured him.

She knew that Johnny was just trying to stir things up. All he said was nothing but a bluff, and she didn''t

have the slightest inclination toward him.

Terence came to his senses and turned to her. "Hmm. I will never let him get his way. I will never let

any man in this world take you away from me!"

He knew that Johnny and Noah both had their desires for Ca. And he was fully aware that there

would be more and more men who would go after her.

Terrence could not control their attraction towards his wife. After all, Ca was really like a goddess

    that walked the earth.

Only by fully loving her could he keep his ce in her heart.

Ca then leaned her head on his chest and heaved a light sigh. "Terence, it seems that I''ve been

attracting a lot of men since the day I met you.

Karen went through a lot of trouble in finding a date for me before. But all those guys fled and avoided

me like I was some kind of gue!" she murmured.

Terence tilted her chin and stared at her with a wide grin. "You mean, it is my fault that you are sought

after by many men I know?" he asked.

"Yes. You know my world was turned upside down when I met you." Ca gave out a snort.

"Okay, it''s alright. Since you think of it that way, I will take care of it," he replied. Gazing at her with his

starry eyes, Terence lowered his head and nted a soft kiss on her red lips. "And I will make sure that

those horrible things will never happen again," he added.

Terrence was referring to those days when her life was in danger, and when he didn''t know whether

she could make it. Those memories terrified him to his wits.

"Terence, you shouldn''t say things like that! If you keep on mentioning those bad memories, it probably

will happen again," Ca seriously replied, not ever wanting to recall or hear about those incidents. No

one knew what the future held. One day they could be happy, then the next day they could be

miserable. Even thinking about it sent shivers down her spine.

Ca only wanted to have the best out of her life. She did not wish Terrence to talk about what tragedy

    could ur to them.

"Life is unpredictable. How can we exactly know what will happen in the next moment? I''m not hoping

that everything will sail smoothly in life. What I really want is that when the hardshipse our way, we

could ovee them together and live happily!"

Ca added with a hopeful tone.

As the old saying went, the journey to life might be filled with danger, but if people had faith in

themselves, luck would always be on their side.

"You have a point," Terrence replied, staring at her lovingly.

He sped his hands with hers before adding, "As you said, we can''t be assured that everything will be

smooth sailing from here. But I want you to know that I will stay by your side and resolve those

difficulties with you. And I am sure that we will live happily and grow old together."

Ca nodded in agreement and affectionately looked at him.

Hearing the two lovebirds'' sweet exchanges, Rainer couldn''t help but shiver as he was driving the car.

It never urred to him that Mr. Terence could say something so sweet and romantic to a woman.

He knew Terrence was capable of being a sweet lover, but he just hadn''t met the right woman who

would make him be this romantic.

All the women who came into his life were just his flings, and he offered them nothing but fleeting fun.

But now, he had found the love of his life, and shepletely changed him.

    In the Seaview Vi...

Ca was dead tired when they reached home, so she decided to take a hot bath.

Although it was a littlete in the night, Terence still had to spare half an hour to deal with some emails.

He was the type to always get things done, so he didn''t want to put off work even for a busy day.

After Ca finished her bath andid on their bed, she was too tired to even open her eyes. She

immediately fell asleep andpletely forgot the things she nned to ask Terrence.

    Meanwhile, in the study room...

As soon as Terence finished his work, he gave Theo a call.

"Hello. Theo, I want you to do something for me. If you can do it, I will forget about everything that you

did. Are you in or out?" Terrence directly offered, not even giving Theo a chance to think about it.

On the other line, Theo pushed away the women coiled up in his arms and sat on the bed.

"What do you want me to do? Even if I have to go through hell, I will help you!" Theo replied.

Ever since he did something stupid that caused Ca''s miscarriage, he felt really guilty and didn''t have

a chance to make it up to her and Terrence.

"Arrange a marriage proposal for me.

I know you have a talent for this kind of stuff. Fix up a grand and enchanting venue for me. I will pay for

everything you spend on the proposal," Terence said as he lightly swung his chair.

Since he had an expert like Theo in that field, he did not bother to find anyone else to do the job for

    him.

Theo had been with plenty of women, and Terrence knew that he was used to these kinds of things.

"Not a problem! When do you want to propose?" Theo replied, without hesitation.

"The sooner, the better," he said. Since there was not much time left before they got married, he

wanted to propose to her as soon as possible. What''s more, he had promised Ca he would throw a

grand proposal to her once they got back to the city.

"Gotcha! You just wait for my call!"

    "Mmmm."

After hanging up the phone, Terence stood up from the chair and walked toward the door of the study

    room.

He heard a noiseing from outside.

Terrence then opened the door and found that Sean was pacing back and forth.

"Terence? Haven''t you gone to sleep?" Sean curiously asked.

"You aren''t asleep either. What''s up? Do you want to talk to me?" Terrence asked in return.

It seemed that Sean was worried about something.

The young boy shyly scratched his head, fixing his eyes at his toes. "Terence, could you do me a favor

and ask my sister to give the letter back to me?" he asked as a faint red flushed on his cheeks.

Hearing what he said, Terence leaned against the door with a grin on his face. "Sean, you seem to care

a lot about this girl. Are you...?" he trailed, trying to fish out a reaction out of the boy.

    Sean violently shook his head.

"Terence, that''s not what it is. I know I''m still young and need to focus on my studies. I just don''t want

my sister to use the letter to ckmail me in the future!" Sean exined in a hurry.

He shook his head intensely, afraid that Terence would think he was in love with someone.

"So you''re telling me that you''re not in love with someone?"

Terrence asked with deeply furrowed brows. He looked at his brother-inw from head to toe and

    couldn''t help but burst intoughter.

    Sean nodded his head again.

"Okay, then. If taking the letter away from your sister can help your studies and also keep you from

being distracted, I will do it for your sake," Terence replied.

He then turned around and went back to the study room.

Terrence initially thought it would be better if he would not interfere with this sibling spat.

But when he saw Sean fidgetingte in the night, he was worried that it might affect his studies.

What''s more, since Sean was asking him a favor, as his brother-inw, he could hardly say no to

    him.
