Chapter 401 New Haircut, New Style (Part Two)


    Terence urgently and quickly said. He finally heard her voice after so long. A relieved smile spread over


    his face. He really, really missed her. After he heard about the news of the Hua Group, he couldn''t


    resist anymore. He immediately gave her a call, hoping she would finally pick up this time.


    He heard that Noah changed his mind about leaving thepany. Although he didn''t know why he


    suddenly changed his mind, Terence still wanted to speak to Ca. It had been so long.


    Terence had made ns for Noah. He was preparing to take revenge on him because Terence still had


    some grudges against him fromst time. He couldn''t forget that Noah had stolen his beloved from him.

    Since Noah seemed to be ying by the rules and no harm was going toe to Ca, he didn''t need


    to personally deal with that man. He respected Ca''s decisions to handle things herself, no matter


    how much he wanted to step in.


    "But you''re not here though, right? I indeed said that I didn''t want to see you. But don''t you know that


    women are strange creatures and always say things that they don''t really mean?" Ca calmly replied.


    She suppressed a smile on her face. It had been so long since she heard Terence''s voice.


    As she yed with her long hair, her eyesnded on a nice barber shop on the street.


    "……" Terence went silent.

    He must have wanted to see her at least a million times. But Andrea told him that Ca didn''t want to


    see him. She needed time to calm down. Later on, Andrea said that Ca hadn''t been in a good mood


    recently. She hadn''t fully recovered after the miscarriage. So Andrea was afraid that if he came to see


    her, it would provoke her and those miserable memories would flood back into her mind again. Then,


    all the time Ca spent recuperating would have been for naught.


    So bearing in mind all of Andrea''s warnings, he forcefully suppressed his desires to rush over to her.


    He nned to see her a monthter.


    During that month, only God knew how guilty and remorseful he felt!


    After a month passed and he could finally get in touch with her, her nonchnt voice hurt his heart. Did


    she not miss him? Was he the only one suffering?


    "Yes. My dear wife, it is all my fault. I was wrong. Can you give me another chance to make it up to


    you? I''m flying to where you are right now and will bring you back home tonight. We can spend time


    together and talk things out. What do you think?"


    Terence asked hopefully, with a big smile on his face. He didn''t defend himself at all and thought that as


    long as she was happy, he would do anything for her. When he faced her, he had no principles at all.


    "Hum. Okay then. That sounds fine. And my mom wants to have a word with you. Don''t forget to bring


    some presents with you," Ca reminded. After the car stopped, she blinked at Andrea and pointed to


    the barber shop. She opened the car door and walked towards the shop at a brisk pace, holding the


    phone to her ear.


    Andrea smiled behind her and got out of the car too. She thought that it was also time for her to get a


    new haircut.


    More importantly, her future son-inw wasing to her house tonight, so she also needed to look


    nice.


    "Okay. After I take a shower and change my clothes, I will fly over ande see you. You know, I really


    missed you. I''ll see you tonight," Terence said with a wide grin. His voice was tender and soft. Then he


    hung up the phone.


    Ca went inside the barber shop and decided on a new haircut. She wanted to leave all the miserable


    memories behind her back and get a new start. A new haircut would be a good way to start her new


    life.


    So…… She would definitely choose a nice haircut to lighten her mood and face the world with a brand-


    new attitude!


    She told the barber to cut her long hair short. When she left the barber shop, she was sporting a cute,


    but short hairstyle.

    Looking at her daughter''s short hair, Andrea couldn''t help but burst intoughter. "You look like an


    eighteen-year old girl. How can anyone believe that you are going to get married?" she said.


    "But the hairstyle looks good on you. Although, I can hardly recognize you. You look cuter and younger


    than before," she added.


    Girls are beautiful when they are young even without make-up or essories. Ca was good proof of


    that. She was beautiful with long hair, but short hair made her look more youthful and innocent.


    It was dark by the time they returned home.


    Andrea had asked the servants to prepare a feast and she even personally made two dishes. She


    didn''t know what Terence liked so she settled on one te of vegetables and one te of meat.


    Ca was in her bedroom. She was busily looking for a set of nice clothes that would match her new


    haircut. But after a long time, she still couldn''t find anything she liked.


    She kept on trying clothes. But the more she tried on, the more she couldn''t make up her mind. She


    could only wander around the bedroom in her underwear, holding clothes up to her body.


    She looked like a headless chicken as she struggled to find the perfect outfit.


    While she was lost in thought with her body barely-clothed, she heard someone knock on the door.


    "Coming!"


    Ca randomly picked up a piece of clothing from the floor. She was about to put it on her body, but


    suddenly, the door was opened from outside.


    She forgot to lock the door since there were no strangers in the house. There were only Andrea and


    two female servants.


    She suppressed a startled scream. Her mouth was wide open as she stared at the man who barged


    into her bedroom.
