Chapter 323 Are You Satisfied


    Noah took Ca to the hospital.


    Ca continuously gnashed her teeth in great pain. It took a while before the doctor could give her an


    X-ray examination and help restore her injured leg.


    After a series of tests, the doctor told Noah and Ca patiently, "Fortunately, the injury is not that

    defending Trina. I didn''t consider that it might have hurt Ca very deeply.


    Since Trina has been my friend for so many years I didn''t mean to ruin my rtionship with her but


    then, what I didn''t consider was how it would affect my rtionship with Ca. There wasn''t anything I


    could do to make both of them happy at the same time. However, I should have immediately noticed


    Ca''s emotions when Trina started criticizing her.


    And I should have walked away at the beginning and removed Ca from that situation without looking


    back.


    Ca has her own dignity and moral integrity which are to protect herself from being mistreated by


    others. And with what happened today, I could only guess how much it affected her.

    On their way back home, they happened to pass by the exhibition. Both of them saw a big fire in the


    clearing outside the exhibition.


    It was only five minutes after they left the hospital when Noah''s phone rang.


    The caller ID showed "Trina".


    From the other side of the phone, Trina''s frigid voice shouted, "Noah, what the heck did you do?


    Are you helping your fiancee take out her anger on me? Are you the one who bought all of my


    paintings and then burned them in front of so many people? What have you done!


    How could you be so heartless and disregard our friendship just like that? How could you put me in this


    humiliating situation? How could I recover from this?"


    Without giving Noah the time to exin or even respond, Trina hung up the phone immediately after


    she finished talking.


    Noah looked at the burning fire outside the exhibition. Instantly, it seemed like he paced out, lost in his


    own thoughts. There was only fire in his brown eyes.

    He saw a tall man who looked like Terence walking away from the scene. Before the man got on his

    Ca, who was sitting behind Noah, couldn''t help but p her hands. She was feeling so much better


    than moments ago. She eximed, "That''s so great. Whoever did this was so kind. I really want to


    thank him for seeking revenge for me. Thank you very much!"


    From where she was sitting, there was no doubt that she couldn''t see Terence.


    However, in her heart, she clearly knew who would do something like that.


    Terence was still in HA City that day.

    When they arrived, Noah got out of the car and carried her to her room upstairs. When she had settled


    for a while, he said in a soft voice, "Have a rest here. It''s almost time for lunch. I''m going to tell them to


    prepare something."
