shameless.
"You mean you aren''t pregnant? Oh, yes, I remember that you told me a long time ago that you are
infertile." Colin scoffed.
Wendy shot Sophia a horrified look. Why wasn''t she aware of that?
Sophia quickly nodded, but then she shook her head and argued, "No, not really. The doctor had told
me, as long as I took good care of myself, I stood a chance of bing pregnant."
A chance she had hoped time and again would happen. Colinughed grimly. Hadn''t she told him that
she would be infertile forever? He pulled her out of the room, "Come with me."
"Colin, where are you going at thiste hour?!" Wendy quickly stood at the doorway, but Colin
shouldered his way through, "Hospital!"
As Sophia trotted to follow, he strode downstairs and out to his car, pushing her into the passenger''s
seat.
Worried, Sophia suddenly realized that her period had been two-weekste. ''What if I am pregnant?''
she wondered.
But she dared not say a word. Colin drove the car at a neck-breaking speed, whilst disying a stolid
expression.
Back at the house, Wendy anxiously asked Jordan, "What has happened? Why is Colin back in the

He hadn''t told her that he would be back so soon. If she hadn''t heard their quarrel, she wouldn''t have
known that he was back.
Jordan watched as the car sped off, and shook his head, "I think I need to hire someone to find out."
"Not now. We should go to the hospital. What if Colin does something to Sophia in anger?" The
consequence would be unthinkable.
Jordan shook his head. "No, let them be. Colin wouldn''t really harm her."
He then called a servant to clean the room.
In the Hospital.
Leaning against the wall, Colin was waiting for the result of Sophia''s pregnancy test.
As the doctors had been off work, by pulling strings, Colin was able to find a doctor to give Sophia a B-
ultrasound.
Five minutester, Sophia slowly walked out of the ward. She spoke, "Colin, I''m pregnant..."
It was confirmed.

But she could still have Cora testify for her. Thinking about this, she searched for her phone, but soon
realized that she had left it at the Li''s House.
With his eyes closed, Colin didn''t say a word.

Sophia hurried to Colin, and held his hand. She implored, "Colin, it''s your child, our child. And the other

us. You can confront her yourself."
"What a load of lies, Sophia Lo. Stop making things up!" Colin shot her a contemptuous look.
Horrified, Sophia hurriedly shook her head. She now finally knew what disaster her revenge could bring
to her. She should have never hired Cora. "No, I didn''t make anything up. I hired a woman to dress like

But Colin didn''t believe a word she was saying, for he had heard her admit that she was bearing

"I want the surgery to be held as soon as possible. No dys." Colin gazed at the doctor, and
announced his merciless order.
The doctor had been told to cater to Colin''s every wish, so she quickly nodded, "Of course, Mr. Li."
"Colin! Please! Please believe me!" Grabbing his hands, Sophia begged again, looking up to him with
tears in her eyes.
But Colin shook her off, "My child or not, I don''t want it anymore. You''ve slept with Payne Tai,
nheless. For that, you are nothing but a dirty whore. Women like you don''t deserve to have my
child."
"I didn''t! I never slept with Payne Tai!"
"Sophia Lo, you make me sick. Your adulterous act was recorded. And I''ve seen the photos and
videos. How can you still deny this when there''s evidence?" Gritting his teeth, Colin pulled her to him,
fingers digging into her shoulders.
Sophia cried out in pain. Then, she frowned. "It wasn''t me. It was the woman I hired..."

He dragged her back into the car. After half an hour''s drive, the car stopped at the mansion he had
