There was a straight stone staircase leading up to another floor and it was dark and damp. My foot
slipped and I gasped as I held onto the wall.
At the top of the stairs was another door but it was locked. I looked back, the door downstairs was
closed and I didn’t hear anyoneing. As I listened to whatever was happening on the other side

I put pressure on the handle and it opened.
