According to the myth of breaking the demon, after the Monkey King got the name, he was full of joy and excitement, and then bowed to the Bodhi Ancestor.
The ancestor immediately ordered the disciples to take Wukong to the outside of the second gate and let him learn the rules of sweeping, treating people and receiving things, and etiquette.
The disciples obeyed the order and left with Wukong.
When Wukong got to the door, he saluted the brothers and sisters again, and then arranged his residence under the eaves of the corridor.
Early the next morning, Wukong began to learn verbal etiquette, study scriptures and morality, practice calligraphy, burn incense and worship with his brothers, day after day.
In his spare time, he is also responsible for cleaning the courtyard, hoeing the garden, planting flowers, pruning trees, and looking for firewood, cooking, fetching water and other chores.
Everything you need is available here.
I spent six or seven years in the cave unconsciously.
One day, the ancestor ascended the altar, sat on it, and gathered the disciples to prepare to preach the road.
At the time of preaching, the sky was flying, and the golden lotus appeared, and the scene was spectacular.
The ancestor exquisitely explained the doctrine of the three ways and the esoteric essence of the law.
He gently shook the dust, his words were as round as pearls, and his voice was as loud as thunder, shocking the nine heavens.
Sometimes it talks about morality, sometimes it explains Zen, and integrates the three ideas of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism.
He clarified the truth of turning to goodness and guided people to understand the mysterious realm of no life and no death.
Sun Wukong listened on the side, scratching his ears and cheeks with joy, his eyes narrowed into a smile, and he couldn''t help dancing.
Suddenly, this action was noticed by the ancestor.
The ancestor stopped Sun Wukong and said, "Why are you dancing so crazy in the queue without listening to my explanation?”
Sun Wukong replied, "The disciple listened sincerely, but when he heard the master''s exquisite explanation, he was extremely happy, so he couldn''t help showing this excitement. Master, please forgive the disciple''s mistake!"
The ancestor asked, "Since you can understand Miaoyin, let me ask you, how long have you been in this cave?"
Sun Wukong said, "The disciple was originally confused, and he didn''t know exactly how long it took. I only remember that there was often no fire in the kitchen. I often went to the back of the mountain to fitch firewood and saw a mountain full of delicious peach trees. I had eaten peaches seven times there.”
The ancestor said, "That mountain is called Lantao Mountain. Since you have eaten peaches seven times, it must have been seven years. So what kind of spells do you want to learn now?"
Sun Wukong replied, "But according to your master''s teaching, as long as there is some Taoism, the disciples are willing to learn.
The ancestor said, "The field of ''Tao'' contains 360 different cultivation methods, and each method is likely to achieve the purpose of cultivation. Which one do you want to learn?"
Wukong replied, "It''s all up to the master''s will, and the disciple will listen to your arrangement wholeheartedly."
The ancestor said, "Then how about I teach you the method of ''art''?"
Wukong asked, "What exactly is the method of ''art''?"
The ancestor explained: "In the word ''art'', there are mainly skills such as asking the gods to ask the immortals, helping the spirits, fortune-telling, and drawing lots to solve fortunes, which can let people know how to seek profit and avoid harm."
Wukong asked, "Can you practice like this and grow up without age?"
The ancestor shook his head repeatedly: "No! No!"
Wukong immediately said, "Then I won''t learn! Don''t learn this!"
The ancestor said, "I will teach you the way of practice in the word ''quiet''. What do you think? "
Wukong asked, "Can you cultivate the right fruit in the ''quiet'' character door?"
The ancestor replied, "This means not eating five grains, keeping the heart clean and doing nothing, practicing through meditation, refraining from delusional words, insisting on fasting, etc., which also includes sleeping, merit, and entering the retreat and other cultivation methods."
Wukong asked again, "Can I live immortally in this way?"
Unauthorized duplication: this narrative has been taken without consent. Report sightings.
The ancestor said, "It''s like ''adobe on the kiln''."
Wukong smiled and said, "Master''s words are really a little subtle. Just now, my brother said that I can''t make an anagy. What do you mean by ''kiln adobe''?"
The ancestor explained, "It''s like a brick billet made on the kiln head. Although the shape has come out, it has not been calcined by water and fire. Once it encounters heavy rain, it will be destroyed."
Wukong said, "In this way, the effect will not last long. Don''t learn! Don''t learn this!"
The ancestor said, "I''ll teach you the spells in the word ''move''. What do you think?"
Wukong asked, "What exactly is the spell in Dongmen?"
The ancestor explained: "This is through the method of collecting yin qi to replenish yang qi, practicing arrow-like posture, massaging the navel to adjust the breath, refining with various prescriptions, burning thatch for alchemy, refining red lead and autumn stone, and even taking women''s milk."
Wukong asked, "Can we also seek immortality like this?"
The ancestor said, "If you want to live through this method, it''s like ''catching the moon in the water''."
Wukong said, "Master, you are here again! What does this ''fishing the moon in the water'' mean? “
The ancestor said, "The moon hangs high in the night sky, and its shadow is reflected in the water. Although it is visible, it cannot be touched after all. In the end, it is just an empty scene.”
Wukong said, "Then I won''t learn either! Don''t learn this!"
Hearing Wukong''s words, the ancestor hummed suddenly, jumped down from the high platform, holding the ring ruler in his hand, pointed at Wukong and said, "You monkey, you don''t learn this, and you don''t learn that. What on earth do you want?"
After saying that, he stepped forward and knocked on Wukong''s head three times, then walked into the room with his hands behind his back, closed the door in the middle, and left everyone.
This move scared all the disciples present and complained to Wukong one after another: "You naughty monkey, it''s really ridiculous! The master wants to teach you magic, but you don''t learn it and talk back to him. I offended him this time. I don''t know when he will come out!"
Everyone complained about him repeatedly, despised and disgusted him.
However, Wukong was not angry at all, but was full of smiles.
It turned out that the Monkey King had solved the puzzle hinted by his ancestor, and he already had a quarrel in his heart, so he did not argue with everyone, but just endured silently.
The ancestor beat him three times to let him pay attention to the third time; he walked into the room with his back and closed the middle door to let him in through the back door and teach him spells in a secret place.
On that day, Sun Wukong and everyone were full of joy and gathered in front of the Sanxing Fairy Cave, eagerly looking forward to the nightfall.
Time seemed to pass very slowly.
Finally, when dusk came, they went to bed together and pretended to close their eyes.
In fact, they were calming down and practicing their inner breathing.
There is no sound of timing in the mountains, and there is no other way to time.
They can only estimate the time by adjusting the rhythm of their breathing.
Around the time of the day, Sun Wukong gently got up, put on his clothes, quietly opened the front door, avoided the crowd, walked out of the house, and looked up at the sky.
At that time, the moonlight was bright, the dew was cool, and the heavens and earth were vast, pure and dust-free.
In the deep woods, quiet birds perch safely, the source of the stream, the sound of water gurgling, clear to the bottom.
The flying fireflies emit a little light, and the light and shadow are staggered; the geese flying south are arranged in rows, and the geese are across the sky.
At this time, it is the time of the third night, and it is a good opportunity to explore the true meaning of Taoism.
Sun Wukong walked to the back door along the familiar path and found that the door was half open.
He said happily, "The master really had the intention to teach me spells, so he deliberately kept the door closed tightly."
With that, he stepped closer, quietly entered the door sideways, and walked all the way to the master''s bedside.
The master curled up and fell asleep with his face facing inward.
Sun Wukong didn''t dare to disturb, so he knelt beside the bed.
After a while, the ancestor woke up, stretched out his legs, and said to himself, "It''s hard! It''s difficult! Taoism is extremely esoteric, and the cultivation of Jindan should not be regarded as an ordinary thing. If you don''t get the guidance of a master to teach the true secret, you will only be useless and dry-mouthed with words alone!"
Sun Wukong immediately responded, "Master, the disciple has been waiting here for a long time."
As soon as the ancestor heard the voice, he knew it was Sun Wukong.
Then he got up and put on his clothes, sat cross-legged, and scolded, "You monkey! Why don''t you take a good rest in the front and run behind me?"
Sun Wukong replied, "Master promised me in front of everyone in front of the altar yesterday to let me come in through the back door and teach me spells, so I dared to come directly to the master''s bed."
The ancestor was very happy to hear this and thought to himself, "This guy is really intelligent by nature! If not, how can I solve the dumb mystery in my plate?"
Sun Wukong continued, "There is no one else present here, only one disciple. I beg the master to show great mercy and teach me the art of immortality. The disciple will always remember the teacher''s kindness!"
The ancestor said, "Now that you and I are destined, I am also willing to teach. Since you can solve the dumb mystery in the plate, come closer and listen carefully. I will teach you the secret of immortality.”
Sun Wukong kowtowed and knelt in front of the ancestor''s bed.
The ancestor began to say, "The profound esoteric Buddhism of Xianzong is integrated and achieves the realm of Yuantong. This is the real wonderful method. There is no other way to cherish and practice life. In the end, all cultivation depends on the cultivation of essence, qi and god. We must carefully protect them, treasure them firmly, and never let them be leaked. Don''t reveal it. These three are hidden deep in your body. If you can accept my teaching, you can naturally flourish and develop. Remembering these tips is very beneficial to you. If you eliminate the evil thoughts and desires in your heart, you can get inner peace and coolness. When you reach the cool realm, your heart will be as bright as the moonlight. At this time, it is best to go to Dantai to enjoy the bright moon. There is a jade rabbit hidden in the moon, a golden black in the sun, and the scene of turtles and snakes entangled with each other. They are entangled with each other, making the roots of life stronger, and can even cultivate golden lotus in the fire. The power of the five elements is cleverly gathered and used upside down. When the cultivation is complete, it can achieve the Buddha position or the immortal body. The ancestor revealed the mystery of practice.
Sun Wukong suddenly realized that he had grasped and firmly remembered the secrets of cultivation.
Then he bowed deeply to the ancestor to express his gratitude, and then went out of the back door to observe the outside world.
The eastern sky is slightly white, while the west is shining with dazzling golden light.
He returned along the original road, went around the front door, gently pushed the door in, returned to the original resting place, deliberately shook the bed, and shouted, "It''s dawn! It''s dawn! Get up!" The other disciples were still sleeping, and they didn''t know that Sun Wukong had gained an important understanding.
