Chapter 163 Don''t Touch Me


    When he heard a woman''s scream, Samuel rushed towards the house.


    ''E, hold on!


    Do not be afraid.


    E, I love you. I''ming!'' Samuel yelled in his mind.


    Finally, he got there, out of breath. He stopped and looked around. Outside the house, he saw a small


    woman lying on the ground. He looked closely and took a sharp breathe when he recognized her. It


    was E. To his horror, he realised the men were sexually assaulting her.


    His eyes turned blood-shot with rage. He realised he did not have much time. Though he was


    outnumbered, heunched himself on the kidnappers.


    The men freaked out. They hurriedly fastened their belts and ran towards the back of the house.


    Samuel ran after them, managing to catch one by the shoulders. At that moment he wanted to beat him


    to death. Suddenly, the four men who were running away cried out loud. On checking, he saw each


    one of them drop. Samuel sensed that they were dead.


    E sat up from the ground. She was confused and terrified at the same time. She noticed the four men


    lying on the ground not far away from her. Everything happened too fast and she could not


    Then E looked at the man Samuel was still beating. She noticed blood flowing from his nose. She


    freaked out and called out weakly. "Samuel, my sweetheart..."


    When Samuel heard E''s voice, he mellowed. E''s voice worked magic on his rage. He pushed the


    man to the ground, released him and walked towards E. He stood there and looked at E. Although


    he was a bitter man, he took off his suit jacket and bent down, draping it over E who looked


    disheveled.


    "Don''t be afraid." Samuel held E''s shaking body tightly in his arms andforted her gently for


    sometime. Then he raised his head and looked at the four dead men on the ground. There and then,


    he realised that it was not a simple kidnapping stint by amateurs. It was a professional job.


    Then he heard some movement. The man he had beaten and pushed to the ground was struggling to


    stand up. He knew the man wanted to run away so Samuel stood up and walked to where he was,


    seizing him by the cor.


    "I''m very sorry. Please let me go. Do not kill me please. I had just touched her when you arrived." This


    man was the one who had been branded a coward. He was the man who wanted to leave the house


    and keep sentry.


    Samuel shook his head fiercely. The man cried in pain.

    his neck tightly, the man finding it hard to breath.


    The man''s face flushed a bright red colour. Samuel loosened his grip. "Tell me!"


    "I will confess... I will confess." The man started coughing, whichsted for some time.


    Suddenly, E heardmotion. She knew help wasing. E turned and called out Samuel. The


    suit jacket didn''t totally cover E. She didn''t want to be found by people like that. She needed to ask


    Samuel for help.


    Samuel turned and realized there were peopleing towards where they were. He knew who the


    people were. When they were near enough, he shouted, "Stop and wait for a while."


    The sound of the heavy boots immediately stopped.


    "Tell me now!" Samuel pulled him from the ground.

    The man was shot in the head, killed by a gun fitted with a silencer.


    Samuel pushed away the body of the dead man and walked to E. He dropped to the ground and held


    her in his arms. He wanted to protect her. Suddenly, something piqued his interest and he looked

    "The southeast side, go and catch him!" He ordered. Several people rushed towards that direction.


    After making sure that there was no one else around, Samuel held E tightly. He realized that the suit


    jacket was only covering her upper body.


    He took off his shirt and without hesitation he fastened it around her waist to cover her lower body,


    resembling a skirt. Samuel was now shirtless.


    Then he lifted E into his arms and started walking.


    The sight of Samuel shirtless carrying E left people dumb-struck.


    Seeing this, one of the police men took off his jacket and put it over Samuel''s shoulders.


    Samuel nced at the jacket but did not resist even though he had some reservations.


    "Thanks. All the people were killed. An investigation is needed into this matter." E buried her face into


    Samuel''s arms. He held her tightly and walked slowly towards his car.


    The unfinished word came into his mind. A note of murderous intent shed in his eyes and then


    disappeared.


    Samuel proceeded to his car and put E in the back seat.


    "Samuel, sweetheart." E put her arms around Samuel''s waist as soon as he straightened his back.


    He took off the police jacket and put it aside. He bent and held her in his arms.


    "It''s alright."


    ''If Amber was indeed the mastermind behind the kidnapping, she will pay for it with her life.'' Samuel


    thought, determined to avenge on behalf of E.


    Samuel entered the car and drove E to The Royal Mansion. He ran a nice hot bath for her first and


    only left when she started bathing.


    He went to the bedroom and made several phone calls.


    When the police showed up where the filming crew was, Amber was in the midst of a kissing scene,


    albeit absentmindedly. The police took her away.


    The director wondered what happened to Amber. He learnt that she had been arrested by the police,


    which came as a shock to everyone.


    Eric blocked the news from spreading immediately. What bad luck! He knew that if the news spread


    that the suspected mastermind of E''s kidnapping was Amber, his TV y was in trouble.

    When E left the bathroom, she was wearing her nightgown. Samuel was on the phone being


    informed that Amber had been arrested and had been detained at the police station.

    Samuel was on the phone outside the bathroom. "I have something to do today so I will not go."


    Samuel hung up and answered another call immediately. "She was detained. So what? I have no time


    to see her now."


    After several other calls, the phone stopped ringing.


    E was brushing her teeth in the bathroom. She brushed them again and again. It was like she had an


    unknown obsession. Samuel was watching what she was doing.


    Samuel couldn''t stand it anymore and when E squeezed toothpaste on her toothbrush again, he


    stepped into the bathroom, grabbed the toothbrush and threw it into the trash can.


    Then he handed her the ss of water. "Drink some water."


    E didn''t resist and drunk the water. After that, she felt better.


    After sometime, she took off her wet clothes, turned back and started walking towards the bathroom


    again. Samuel stopped her.
