children with them as long as you want. If you can leave Jerry''s custody to me, I promise you I won''t

Instead of cheerful, E felt rather sad about the situation.
Samuel had been creating the impression that their marriage was just as happy as it seemed.

Realizing that Samuel had never loved her, E couldn''t help holding Jerry and bursting into tears.
Her phone rang while she was about to cry her eyes out. It was Samuel again...
He was such an annoying man. Why did he tease her over and over again when he obviously didn''t
care about her?
"What?" Noticing her unusual voice, Samuel frowned and then curled his lips silently.
"Why are you crying?" It looked like he was bullying her. But he was actually the one who got bullied.
And she was the one who was cheating behind his back.
"What do you want? Just say it or leave me alone." E got up from the bed and walked to the balcony
in case the noise should wake Jerry up. And she hoped the night view of France from there would help
her calm herself down.
Then it suddenly hit her that it was nine o''clock in France, which meant it was three in the morning back
in China. Shouldn''t he be on bed already? Why would he call her at this hour?
"E, tell me. Do you enjoy cheating behind my back?" Samuel sounded really aggressive. He gulped
down the wine and refilled his cup again.
E had no idea what he was talking about. How could she be cheating behind his back when she was
doing nothing at all?
"What do you mean by that?" That was how he saw her? A slutty woman? Who had been finding every
chance to cheat on him?
Thinking of what Emma told him earlier, Samuel closed his eyes and tried to control his temper. And all
of a sudden, he smashed the cup in his hand into the wall.
The ss cup was immediately shattered into pieces. E was startled by the noise at the other end.
"Sum had followed you to France the moment younded. E, are you two going to date in France

Closing his eyes and reclining back on the couch, Samuel then said, "What? Are you jealous?"
Hearing clearly the teasing in his tone, E nked out for a moment. He was right about it. She was
jealous.
Samuel knew how much she liked him after all. E saw no point in hiding her feelings from him. So
she admitted, "Right, I am jealous. Got a problem? Go ahead and hang up."
Samuel was obviously pleased with her confession. "Problem? E, you don''t know the half of it." He
would let E have a taste of her own medicine.
Divorce, in your dreams! That was never going to happen, not until he had grown tired of her.
Trying to keep as calm as she could be, E said, "Mr. Shao. As awyer, do you know the
