    He got to the fields and scoured the battlefield. He passed the river and searched the forest. He even went down to the farmlands, just in case. He checked everywhere he DARED check.

    This site doesn''t allow chapters with less than 500 words so I am forced to fill it like this, usually, I would just say something in author notes but this works fine.


    This is a nice short chapter that I felt perfectly rounded everything so far. It is short but sweet, I think it rose your hair a little, hehe. So here I thought I could talk a bit about a story a little since the situation already presented itself. This was originally simply supposed to be a short part of the backstory for the protagonist of the story I''ve been working on since I was 9. But due to some circumstances, I decided to turn it into an entire novel??. I pulled someone who was supposed to appear far later in Noir''s life and turned him into an antagonist here, it worked well cause it also gave me an explanation for why Qamh village is so important, it was always supposed to be, cause what will happen at the end of this novel was known around the world but I never had an exact idea why that is, however, with this I finally have the answer?. It is a bit of a weird start I must admit, after all, you have yet to even meet the protagonist properly outside of one mention of him in the first chapter but it is necessary to take that approach. This is a world of its own at the end of the day, I can''t just force characters to do something differently??. I hope you will enjoy this first arc regardless of Noir''s absence, and I hope you will read it after that despite the shift in the protagonist from the initial chapters.

    What you can expect from this story is a lot of world-building, adventures, and psychological horror, mostly coming from Noir''s mental state but the other characters will have their issues as well. I am also certain that you will be able to connect my stories with some fairy tales you know as a lot of adventures will be vaguely based on classical fairy tales, and if you happen to be Croatian like myself you will also be able to recognize connections with some stories you''ve read as a kid for school. I did take some inspiration from such stories, though, the aspects you see from them will be a lot darker, muahahhahaha??.
