Chapter Twelve: Low


    Viktor used the unlawfully earned money to purchase a hotel room. He was distraught, and not sure what to do or where to go, or how to fix this.


    “Surely,” he thought, “people can’t just vanish into thin air? That’s impossible.”

    He thought it could have simple been a trick of the light. Yet, how did he disappear like that. His head was spinning and racing as he racked his brain, realising he was now on his own. To fix a mess that was not even his fault, and then he really was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. The thinking soon tired out his brain, as he slowly let his eyelids close. He dreamt lonely dreams.
