Chapter 14 Matthew’s Sad Childhood


    Thinking of nca’s pretty face and the way Matthew looked at her, Louise wanted to pour a bottle of


    sulfuric acid on her.


    Carrie thought about it for a while and shook her head. “No, this only causes unnecessary troubles. If

    Matthew was silent and nca didn’t dare to say anything.

    seemed that Wilbert was happy about her presence.


    nca pulled Matthew’s arms and whispered, “Your dad is so strict.”


    “He didn’t like me since I was young. Even if I got the best grades in school, he wouldn’t say a nice


    word to me. I have got used to this,” Matthew paused and said, “Let’s go upstairs to see grandpa.”
