It was after 21:00 and almost 22:00 when Nico drove from the group to the Bayside.
Mica, with the usual old man routine, was about to go to bed when she received a call from Nico.
On the phone, the man said tersely and directly, “I’m downstairs at your house.”
Mica, slightly dazed, walks over to the window with her phone in her hand and looks down. Sure enough, there is a silver and gray sports car with a familiar figure standing next to it.
Mica looks out the window to talk to him on the phone and asks, “What do you want from me thiste?”
“Mica, youe downstairs.”
“I’m going to bed, the pajamas are changed.” Mica wasn’t lying.
Nico held the phone to his ear with one hand as he looked down, lifting a long leg and nonchntly kicking a small stone at his feet. “I’ve driven all this way and you haven’t seen me?”.
“Wait a minute then.”
Mica hung up the phone and went to change her clothes.
It was so cold and dewy outside that a down jacket had to be worn down there.
Ten minutester, Micaes out of the building wrapped in a long down jacket.
Nico watched her from a distance with one hand in his pocket, his forehead warm and slightly smiling, his ck eyes, like shooting stars, sparkled and smoldered as he looked at her.
Mica walked over and said, “It’s sote, have you had a busy day and you’re not going home to sleep and you’re staying here car model?”
Nico kicked his shoes a little and saidzily, “I was tired after a long day at work, but I’m not tired after seeing you. I have an illness that needs to be treated by you.”
“What?”
“Now I want to see you every day, I have no energy if I don’t see you, I can’t do anything.”
Suddenly, Nico took a step closer to her, his tall, erect body enveloped her, “Of course, if you give him another hug, it will be a moreplete cure.”
The man’s strong, slender arms had embraced her.
Through the thickforter, Mica could hear the strong beating of his heart.
With a simple embrace like this, even without more intimate actions, Nico was content with the warmth that was about to pour out of her heart.
Held for who knows how long.
Nico didn’t want to let go of her hand at all, rested his chin on her forehead and solemnly promised, word for word: “Mica, there is no repetition between us, nor can there be, even if this time you y me to death, I won’t let go of you. If I had known you were still alive, I would havee to you even sooner. Separating from life is even harder than separating from death.”
Mica took a deep breath, exhaled a deep puff of white air and slowly looked up at him with a faint smile, “Between us, there’s a lot of time ahead.”
Nico shivered and hugged her tighter, the corners of his lips turned up.
Yes, what’s there to fear when the future is long.
Mica set the rm on her phone to go to bed at eleven and the rm went off.
Mica said, “I’m going up to bed.”
Nico let go of her and stood by the car watching her turn and walk a few steps away, then suddenly took a big step forward and drew her back into his arms, hugging her again, from behind, Nico’s face, cold from the icy wind, pressed against hers and said in a muted, warm voice, “Mica, now I know that as long as you’re in my arms, all the twists and turns, it’s all worth it. ”
Mica was silent for a moment and teased, “I really need toe up, unlike you, I can stay up all night and still be fresh the next day.”
Nico let go of her and said, “Come on in, I’ll see you in before I leave.”
The man was standing by the car in a ck coat, his posture was clear and his eyebrows starry.
On this night, Nico felt like he was living a decade ago, full of adolescent love and confidence.
“Mica.”
He called out to her again.
Mica lost her smile and turned her eyes to look at him, “How else am I going toe upstairs if you’re like this?”Exclusive content from N?velDrama.Org.
It’s almost like taking a step backwards.
Nico kicked a stone at his feet and said to Mica with some cynicism, “Nothing, I was wondering when you wereing home to sleep with me.”
Can re, lying on a tab with him.
Mica just curved her lips and eyebrows without speaking and waved her hand at him, “Go away, good night.”
…
The next day, at noon, Mica headed for lunch at The Vis at Repulse Bay in Adam.
Just as I got out of the car, I saw Estre with the children watering the flowers and grass in the yard.
Mica has only met Paulita, the other carrot dingus she hasn’t seen.
“Estre! Aunt Mica is here!”
Paulita ran up excitedly, looking at Mica’s beautiful face with wide eyes and a look of fascination.
Paulita has grown quite a bit in thest three years since I’ve seen her.
Mica reached out and stroked the little girl’s head, saying softly, “Paulita has grown so much and is so beautiful that Tia Mica hardly recognizes her.”
Estre approached with three-year-old Lucio and said with a smile, “She’s jumping, and look at those little legs, she may be a long-legged beautyter on.”
“It’s been a long time, Estre, and I didn’t know you and Adam had had a second child.”
Estre said, “Yes, thest time we saw each other was three years ago, but now that you’re back, we can get together more often. Come on, let’s talk inside, it’s warm inside.”
When we walked in, the children were sitting on a thick nket next to the sofa ying.
Estre has prepared a pot of flowers and is chatting with Mica about it.
Paulita and Lucio were putting Lego together and when they got to a difficult ce, they couldn’t put it together for ages, Paulita pulled the Lego closer and asked the adults, “Estre, help me put it together here, my brother is a troublemaker, he’s messing up everything I’ve put together!”
Estre is not very good at Lego either, it is usually Adam who takes the two children to y with them, and Estre was puzzled for a while and couldn’t get them put together.
“Let’s see.”
Mica checked the original piece and patiently exined to Paulita, “Paulita, look, this step you put it backwards, the colors don’t match the drawing, so you can’t put anything together either, take this apart and put it back together as it was in the drawing and you can put this together.”
Paulita pped her forehead with her little hand, disgruntled, “Why didn’t I realize that, I’m going to spell it out again.”
Paulita held up the Lego, took apart the previous step and flexibly reassembled it.
Estre smiled and said, “I’m not good at ying with these more spacey things, it’s usually Adam who takes the kids. Seeing as you get along so well with Paulita, if you and Nico have children in the future, I’m sure you’ll get along well with the kids.”
At the mention of the baby, Mica made a puzzled face and didn’t answer, just took a sip of her tea and said, “Anyway, it’s good to have Adam around, you don’t need to know anything, Adam will do everything for you.”
After a few moments of climbing and exchanging pleasantries, Adam came down from his study upstairs, dressed in a white shirt and ck pants, as clean and smart as can be.
“Mica is here.”
Estre said, “I didn’t call you when Mica arrived, as you were busy with work. ”
Mica gets up and greets Adam with a smile.
