When Mica had prepared all the ingredients, she called out to Nico, “Mr. Nico, when are youing?”
Nicoughed lightly in jest on the other end of the phone and teased, “Do you miss me that much?”.
“Because some of the dishes need to be cooked in the pot first.”
Nico was already on his way, “Almost there.”
“Then I’ll hang up now.”
Ten minutester, as Mica was about to steam the pork, she realized she didn’t have any wine at home, so she went down to the minimarket to buy some.
Right after buying the wine, I ran into Nico in the neighborhood.
Nico had just parked his car when Mica motioned to him, “Mr. Nico, this way.”
Nico walked over and picked up the wine in his hand, he looked at it, he didn’t understand, Nico didn’t know how to cook, “What are you buying this for?”.
“I’ll make you some steamed pork, this one to take away what’s fishy.”
Nico pulled her with one hand, wrapped his arm around her waist and kissed her toward the side of the building.
Just as they reached the hallway, a figure suddenly emerged with a packet of powder in hand and sprinkled it in Mica’s face.
“Mr. Nico!”
Nico’s eyes instantly hurt and he squeezed them shut tightly.
Mica was about to break her grip and go after the fleeing assant when Nico pulled her back.
“Why are you leaving!” Nico yelled at her.
Mica said, “The man ran away!”
Nico felt inexplicably aggrieved, “I’m in a fucking state and you won’t take me to the hospital? Can you chase that guy if he gets away?”
Mica: “…”
Mica hurried to check his eyes with concern, “Mr. Nico are you okay?”.
Nico couldn’t open his eyes all the way and said without smiling, “Do I look okay to you like this?”.
You fucking bastard, don’t let me catch you and kill you with a stick if you do.
Mica grabbed his hand and led him towards the car, “Then I’ll take you to the hospital.”
Just as they reached the car, Mica quietly remembered something else, “Mr. Nico, I don’t have my driver’s license, it’s upstairs, shall I go upstairs and get it first?”.
Nico gritted his teeth, fuck, was this woman worried about him or not, this was the time to think about something like bringing the driver’s license!
Mica reassured him, reaching out and caressing his face childishly, “Be good, wait for me for five minutes, I’ll be down soon with my license, stay still and wait for me!”.
Nico: “…”
Mica!
Nico stood there, alone, waiting for her toe up for her driver’s license before getting off.
The road was quite congested and Mica was driving quite steadily.N?velDrama.Org ? 2024.
Nico was even more obnoxious and sneered, “You’re a leisurely driver, aren’t you?”.
Mica released one hand and reached out to pat the back of his hand, “Almost there, take it easy, does it hurt?”.
When he finished, Mica touched his face with that hand.
Nico: … fuck, going along with it like a fart?
Nico turned his head away from touching his face.
Shit, what the hell is this, it’s so spicy it’s bringing tears to my eyes.
Nico couldn’t resist reaching out to rub his eyes, but Mica held him back with one hand, “Don’t move, we’re almost at the hospital.”
“…”
When we arrived at the hospital, Mica was about to check in when Nico grabbed her hand and didn’t let go, “Where are you going?”.
“I’ll check you in, wait for me here, be a good boy.”
Mica helped him sit in the chair next to her and then quickly went to register the number.
The ER was registered, so there was no line.
The doctor peeled Nico’s eyes and looked at them, then swiped some of the remaining powder from the outside of his eyes and sent them for analysis.
“Why don’t youe with me to the debridement room to have your eyes rinsed first, it’s not good to judge the extent of the eye injury at this point.”
Mica helped Nico and followed the doctor to the debridement room.
On the way to the debridement room, Nico grabbed her slender, bony wrist and said fiercely, “I’m going to go blind because you’re wasting my time!
I have to get my license, register and wait for the red light, so many things to do.
Isn’t your safety first?
Mica reassured him, “You can’t go blind. Nowadays, medical science is so advanced that, if you go blind, you can just get a new cornea.
Shit, now he’s pretentious?
Who does it help to avoid a catastrophe? Who does it help?
The more Nico thought about it, the angrier he got and the tighter he squeezed Mica’s wrist.
Mica put up with it and, seeing that he was hurt, didn’t dislike him any more and was kind enough to hold him and remind him to put his feet up.
When we got to the deobstruction room, Nicoy down and the doctor first cleaned his eyes with a low concentration of saline.
After washing, the doctor wiped his eyes with a medical cotton cloth: “Try to open your eyes.”
Nico’s eyes hurt from the irritation he had, and when he opened his eyelids, they were blurry. “I can’t see.”
Mica walked over to him, leaned toward him and held her hand out in front of his eyes, “Mr. Nico?”
The doctor looked at Nico’s eyes with a shlight and said, “Maybe the cornea was irritated by that powder and now it is a little inmed, how about this, I will prescribe some eye drops and an ointment, you go back to using them for a few days, observe the state of your eyes, if you still can’t see after three days go back to the hospital.”
Mica nodded and reached out her hand to help Nico up as she asked the doctor, “Doctor, what exactly is that powder?”
“It could be a chili mixture, I saw a substance in there that is supposed to be chili, but what the rest of it is, I don’t know yet, they can wait for the results at the hospital again. You can get a prescription to get the medicine first, you can give your boyfriend the eye drops before he gets ufortable.”
“Okay.”
Mica arranged for Nico to sit on a stool, “You sit here nicely while I pay a bill and get some medicine, call me if anything happens.”
Mica turned around and was about to leave when Nico, who was sitting on a stool, grabbed her by the hand and said, “How am I going to call you if I can’t see?”
“…” Oops, just a few minutes, she was saying that, and he took it seriously enough to call.
Mica looked awkwardly at the doctor and asked, “Doctor, if you’re going to call me backter, could I help you?”
The middle-aged doctor, who usually likes to pair up with young people, looked at them with an aunt’s smile, “It’s okay, you go ahead, I’m here, I’ll help you take good care of your boyfriend, don’t worry.”
When Mica left the office, the doctor smiled and joked: “Your girlfriend is very good to you, she worries about you.
Nico’s face didn’t move as he tossed out, “It’s not so bad.”
“Not bad, nice and caring, young man you should be happy, don’t be too greedy.”
Nico’s eyes were closed, but the corners of his lips twitched imperceptibly.
Mica was in and out in barely ten minutes, still with a pair of stilettos on her feet.
Almost running, Nico frowned and grumbled when she returned with a bag of Western medicine, “What took you so long?”
Mica gasped, “There were a lot of people picking up the medicines and I cut the tail, luckily big brother was kind enough to let me cut the tail without educating me.”
Hearing her gasp on the run, Nico’s mind bnced then.
Mica nodded toward the doctor, “Thank you, doctor.”
And then, helping Nico out of the office, she sat down outside in the long row of connected chairs and rummaged in the bag for the potion and read the instructions.
“Four to five showers a day.”
Mica unwrapped the box of eye drops, stood up and held Nico’s forehead down, “You’re on your back, don’t move.”
Mica stands up and Nico sits up, tilting his head so she can put the eye drops in.
Mica reaches up to peel back his eyelids, but Nico is still fidgeting and the eye drops are dripping out of his eyes.
Nico’s grumpy, “Can you stop it?”
“You stay still, it’s about you moving.”
When Mica saw that he still couldn’t stop moving, like a child with ADHD, she just rested her two big hands on his waist, “Hold me, don’t move, be patient, Mr. Nico, why are you so petnt for a man?”
Nico put his arms around her and stopped talking, he felt quitefortable hugging her.
Mica carefully put the drops in his eyes, “Don’t move, it will take a little longer.”
Nico asked, “What if I go too blind?”.
Mica said nonchntly, “Then why don’t I donate my corneas to you, it won’t make you blind, it won’t make you blind.”
Nico got a slight jolt in his heart, “Are you serious?”.
“Really, it’s more real than a pearl, do you want to try it blind?”
Nico: “…”
After Mica put the drops in his eyes, he was so quiet that she thought he was really afraid of going blind, so she stood up and went over to hug him.
Nico’s face, resting on the small of her back.
Mica touched the back of his neck with one hand, put the eye drops in the bag with the other and said reassuringly, “Don’t be afraid, you can’t go blind, if you do you’ll still be a handsome blind man.”
“…” she said she would donate her corneas to him?
Mica sat with Nico in the chair andforted him for a long while as he waited for the report of the powder test.
Nico: Actually, it’s quite nice to beforted by a woman.
Being used to being a wolf dog, he’s fine with disguising himself as a milk dog from time to time.
Being protected by Mica is actually a bit addictive.
When the report came back from the powderb, which was a mixture of paprika and penicillin and some misceneous substances, the doctor said it shouldn’t be a big deal and to go back to trying to recover for a few days.
It waste afternoon on the way back.
The two were still on empty stomachs, which was fine with Mica, but they were afraid of starving the consortium. “Mr. Nico, are you hungry?”
Mica asks him while driving.
Nico rested his hands behind his head in a rxed manner, not the least bit scared as he closed his eyes.
When the light was red, Mica looked at his eyes with a piece of gauze around, and the man who couldn’t see his eyes with a piece of gauze around was still so handsome.
That superior high nose, without the excess of those superior eyes, is even more superior.
Without looking into his eyes, you can tell he’s a coconut.
Mica looked at him without enthusiasm; anyway, he was blind now and couldn’t see her peeping, and it felt darkly good to gaze with nonchnce.
It wasn’t until someone honked the horn behind her that Nico turned his head to look at her, unconsciously ncing in her direction even though he couldn’t see. “What are you driving away from, the horn is honking behind you, why don’t you just go away?”
“Oh, here goes.”
“Are you spying on your man?” scoffed Nico.
“…”
Mica skirted around the subject, “Are you hungry?”
“Starving.” Nico continued in that doggy tone.
“So, what restaurant are you going to for dinner, I’ll take you there now.”
Nico turned his head towards her, “I thought you said you were going to make me steamed pork, what kind of sewer oil crap are you eating out?”.
“… That one’s going to take a long time, I’m afraid you’re hungry and I’m not done with your front and back end.”
Nico: “I’m not hungry right now”.
Mica: “…”
All right then, hold on.
